Got a call from a lady with an American accent saying she was from HMRC, and just like others have mentioned, she was making threats. I reported it to the police who said they’d forward it to Action Fraud. I really think everyone should report these calls too.

Got a robotic voicemail saying it was from HMRC and some Lisa Roberts guy to get in touch with. When I called back, the bloke on the line was a total prat, so I hung up and told him where to shove it! I rang him back and gave him a mouthful about involving the police and HMRC if he didn’t stop, then told him to jog on and ended the call. Served him right really! Blocked the number afterwards!
