My phone rang but stopped before I could pick up, then they left this nasty voicemail claiming I’ve got a “lawsuit filed against me” - yeah right! I’ve already told my network to block that number so I won’t get disturbed again. Still, I can’t help but think how many poor folks get totally freaked out by messages like that? It’s unbelievable this kind of thing is even legal!

A few days back, I decided to call HMRC to sort out some details on my account. I was pretty sure I'd end up getting a dodgy call from some scammer pretending to be from HMRC. And sure enough, someone rang me saying I was owed £500 million by HMRC, like that’s believable! Honestly, it feels like HMRC’s info isn’t safe at all these days - personal details are slipping through the cracks and ending up with the wrong people.
