Got a voicemail from someone called Cheryl claiming to be from HMRC, saying there was a warrant out for my arrest over some charges. When I tried to ring back, it just went through to this weird international dial tone and no one picked up. At one point, it told me to leave a message but that was it. Definitely a scam call if you ask me.

I got a voicemail too, some dodgy message about an arrest warrant against me and a number starting with 020 to ring back on. Didn’t bother calling, just blocked it straight away.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from HMRC, Manchester numbers. Saying there’s a warrant out for my arrest over unpaid taxes or something. Thing is, I’ve got hidden disabilities - like severe anxiety, epilepsy, and cognitive stuff - and the call made me freeze up and nearly triggered a panic attack. Honestly, I was relieved when it didn’t push me into a seizure. Proper nasty tactic to scare people like that.

I couldn’t even talk, had a panic attack right away, and honestly, I was really close to having a seizure. Proper scary stuff.

Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be Cherry at HMRC. They said if I didn’t ring them back to sort some charges, they’d be sending my local cops round to arrest me. Total scam - went straight to blocked.
