It’s so weird when someone rings up, asks for me personally, and then just cuts the call without saying a word!! What's the point?!?!?

Some bloke rang me saying he was from Legal & General, Aviva, Liverpool Victoria and a few others, claiming they were doing checks on customers' policies. He wanted to chat about my policy but didn’t have any info except my name. I told him if I was gonna check my policy, I’d ring the insurer myself, not some random cold caller. After that, he just hung up on me!
