Just got a call from 0161 505 2426, it was some water insurance place. They left a robot message and said they'd ring me again. I'm guessing it's one of those calls trying to push insurance or services that my regular water company already covers.

Even though this number seemed dead for ages, I just got a call on my mobile from it today - and I hardly ever use that phone. I ignored it since I didn’t recognise the number, and there wasn’t any voicemail left. Looks to me like it’s either an old number BT has started using again or maybe some telemarketer trying their luck once more.

I didn't pick up when they rang, and after the initial call, I went ahead and blocked the number. Not quite sure how it happened, but they continue to attempt to get in touch with me despite the block. It's quite frustrating, to say the least.

I picked up the phone and they wanted to know if they had the right person, x. I just said, what’s it about? Then they went quiet and ended the call. Blocked the number straight away!

My partner's phone rang but he wasnt there so I picked up and said he couldn't come to the phone and asked if they wanted to leave a message. They just hung up straight away. Then i rang back from my own number and some woman said she was from DGP - Daniel Paul Gavin estate planning or something like that. She said she was ringing for the government and started asking if we had a will. I told her it was none of her business and put the phone down.

Got a random call from someone I didn’t recognise, just a complete stranger ringing out of the blue.
