Got a call from someone claiming to be from an energy provider boasting they'd just been named top in the country. When I asked where they’d found my details, the guy couldn't tell me. I mentioned GDPR, but he tried to dodge it. I told him maybe he can't see my number on his screen, but he should definitely be able to tell me how the company got my name and number. He said “okay” and then just hung up on me. Typical 1 to 1 Utilities behaviour!

I get really wary of calls where they dont leave a message, because it just feels like a scam or some sales call. I never bother calling back if there's no message left. Wish they'd just say who they are and why theyre calling, that would make things a lot clearer.
