Got a random annoying call from 0161 505 1081 out of the blue, really irritating.

Got a call earlier from someone who sounded Indian, claiming they could help me find a job and asked about how much I earn now. I've set up call blocking through my phone provider to stop these sorts of calls, but it clearly isn’t doing anything. Who even are these people, and why on earth can’t they be shut down?

I got a call from someone insisting they needed to do a life insurance check on my policy. They wouldn’t say which company it was with, just kept saying the policy needed reviewing. When I asked them to remove my info from their records, they got quite aggressive and wouldn’t respect my decision to not share any details.
