Yeah, it is definitely the Law Room Solicitors about PPI. I asked about something before and they’ve rung a few times. I just never added their number to my contacts. So if you’ve enquired with them, that’s the reason they’re calling. If you don’t want to be bothered, either pick up and tell them to stop or just don’t answer - they’ll stop calling after a while!

They were looking for my partner and I asked what it was regarding. They wouldn’t say, said it was due to data protection. I mentioned I’d looked them up and they didn’t seem like a legit solicitor. Then they asked when he’d be home, but I just told them I didn’t know. Again, data protection was the excuse.

They contacted me claiming to be solicitors inquiring about my partner. When I probed further about the purpose of their call, they couldn't divulge any details, citing data protection. I told them I couldn’t reveal my partner’s location either due to the same reason. I then rang them back to remove my number from their records, and the person on the line insisted they had done their homework online and affirmed they were indeed a legitimate law firm!

I actually made this call myself to check if there were any people coming for me. They sent a solicitor to complete the forms and even tho I never returned them, they rang me back pretty quickly. I called them again AFTER I checked “who called me” to confirm the number. So I told them that whatever I might get, if anything at all, it's not really worth the trouble. If they keep ringing, I will update you. Then it could be classed as harassment. But for now, it seems like a proper law firm just doing the regular people stuff.
