My wife's phone rang and the caller claimed to be from some place called 5 Star. They said they’d been trying to reach her loads of times about giving her a refund. It set off loads of alarm bells, so she ended the call right away. Sounds like a scam just trying to get bank info, be careful!

Got a call from a company named Red Star Financial about some ppi claim. They wouldn’t explain how my number ended up in their system. I told them I already have other firms sorting out ppi claims, so no point having more wasting time by looking into the same thing. Asked them straight away to delete my number from their records, and on top of that, I’ve blocked their number on my phone. Heads up, they also ring from 016150503731.
