Completely dreadful caller bringing up the Manchester Arena incident before attempting to inquire about a loan. I've had enough, so I've blocked them.

I kept getting calls from a number that looked pretty much the same, so finally picked up. The bloke on the other end had a heavy Northern accent and was quite slow with his words, asking if I’d used a credit card in recent years or something like that. Bored at work, I thought I’d have a laugh and mess with him a bit, and ended up winding him up until he hung up on me. I didn’t catch what he was actually trying to sell. One thing that always throws them is asking, “Can you tell me who last won Wimbledon using a wooden racket?” Seems to confuse them every time!

They keep ringing me, and when I block one number, they just switch up the last digit and call again! I’ll just keep blocking every new number that comes through.

Got a call earlier on that started off with them going on at length about the Manchester arena disaster. Then all of a sudden, they flipped and began asking if I’d ever taken out a loan or had a credit card. When I said no, they just ended the call. Strange behaviour!

Got loads of calls off them asking about my credit cards, which felt like a total invasion of privacy. I ended up ringing them back just to see what it was all about after they kept calling. Wouldn't bother with them, honestly.

Honestly, I was so shocked. Just moments ago, this person started going on about the Manchester Arena tragedy, even calling me by my first name. He kept going on about how close it was to him, and I half expected him to try and get me to donate or something dodgy like that. Then, out of the blue, he switched topics and asked if I’d had a credit card anytime in the past 15 years. I said no, and then he asked if I’d ever taken out a loan. When I said no to that too, he just hung up. What a load of rubbish, these scammers are the worst.
