So I’ve been getting these silent calls alot lately. If you just don’t answer, they keep ringing for ages. I usually pick up straight away and try to drag it out so the person on the other end has to keep the call going, hoping it costs them. Of course, I never share any of my details, just ask for loads of info about their company and whatever they’re trying to sell.

this number called me regarding some ppi thingy. ive also noticed calls coming from numbers like 01615050xx as well.

My partner keeps getting calls from numbers that all start with 0161 505. Everytime he blocks one, another with the same beginning pops up! The person on the other end even said they’re all ringing from the same spot. Quite annoying really.

Loads of calls kept coming from this number. I always pick up and just hear nothing, or some messed up voicemail. Thought I might give it another go, but nah, blocked them now. Proper frustrating especially when I'm hoping for a call that actually matters!
