Indeed, I received a call from this particular number. Strangely, they addressed me by my name and had a discernible accent reminiscent of Pakistan. It quickly became apparent that it was a scam when they insisted I confirm my identity. I promptly terminated the call and blocked them. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time; I’ve encountered similar calls beginning with the 0161 prefix, albeit with varying endings. Each time I block one, another comes through. It’s infuriating and feels like relentless harassment. Honestly, something needs to be done about this!

I received a rather odd phone call from these people who seemed to know my name and started quizzing me about my Barclaycard transactions. Out of the blue, they just cut the line on me! I attempted to return the call, but unfortunately, my phone has a restriction on premium numbers, so I couldn't get through. I have a strong suspicion that this might be some dodgy scam attempt.
