Got a call again from some company about a loan I supposedly took a few years back. They were banging on like I owed more than I actually did, which is rubbish. I told them straight, they’re talking nonsense and when they asked for my address to send some documents, I told them to jog on. Told them to leave me alone or I’d have to do something about it, then just hung up.

That’s definitely a PPI firm. I found that installing the t####er app on my phone helps block loads of those PPI call centres and other similar annoying calls. It’s saved me from loads of hassle!

i got a call from some ppi/pba claims company, but the person on the phone was actually quite polite and sensible. i still ended up blocking the number but it wasn’t as bad as the usual nuisance calls. maybe they’re improving their approach? i’d guess they’re trying to find people who might have had loans or financial products before - coz otherwise, how would they be allowed to check out my financial info without my okay? seems a bit dodgy to me.

Even though I ended up blocking the number, it wasn’t as bad as most other calls like this. Maybe they’re improving their approach? I guess they’re trying to find people who might’ve had loans or some kinda deal with them. Otherwise, how could they legally check my financial history without my say-so? Feels a bit shady to me.
