Got called around 17 times already, one time they left a voicemail saying it's from an energy provider. Totally dodgy, feels like a scam to me.

Got a call about life insurance from some place named Review. The bloke on the phone was an absolute muppet and got really cheeky with me when he got annoyed! Laughable company hiring nothing but useless people.

This bloke was proper rude, wanted to chat with me but I wouldn’t give my name. I asked who he was, said he was David and asked how I was. I repeated asking who he was and he said something about a review team. I asked what they were reviewing, and he got all moody, dropped a few swear words and then hung up. Number’s blocked now.

This number called me on 6 April 2017, asking for me using my maiden name which I stopped using years ago, so I knew it was fishy. I just told them that no one by that name is linked to this number. I reckon they'll ring back though, cos something like this happened last week too but I didn't catch the number then.

I keep getting calls on my mobile, mostly missing them, but I finally picked up this time. To my surprise, a rather assertive woman was on the other end, insisting that I confirm my identity while claiming to be from some so-called Review team. Her tone was rather brash and confrontational, almost as if she were trying to intimidate me. I can’t help but feel sorry for any older individuals who might fall victim to such harassment; she came across as quite unpleasant and menacing. I firmly declined to comply with her requests and ended the call promptly. It makes me uneasy to think what kind of sensitive information they might attempt to extract from someone who’s less able to defend themselves. Stay alert, everyone!
