Got a call from someone who said they were O2, but it turned out to be a scammer.

Got a call with one of those automated messages saying it was HMRC, telling me to ring them back or arrange for a lawyer to get in touch. It warned me not to ignore the call or else there’d be serious trouble. Honestly, it felt like a complete scam. Just a heads up to be careful!

got a call but they didnt leave a message! could be a scam or just spam, either way it felt sketchy. watch out if you pick up - never hand over personal info! i blocked it straight away.

I got a ring about some claim for hearing damage, and I told the bloke (nice fella, actually) that my hearing was fine, no way I was getting any payout. I told him they might as well have a bash to celebrate all the poor souls they keep cold calling and who fall for it. Cheers to them all, really.

So this bloke rang me about some hearing loss claim. I told him (nice enough fellow, actually) that I could hear him perfectly fine and there wasn’t any way I’d get any cash from it. I even joked that they might as well use the money for a bash to celebrate all those poor souls they’ve cold called who fell for this scam. Cheers to that, really!
