I missed a call recently but, thanks to your tips, I’ll just ignore them next time. Regarding a comment above: if you’ve told them to stop ringing you over and over and they still keep at it, save their number in your contacts so you’ll recognise it straight away. When they do call again, pick up and when they ask if you’ve been in an accident, just say something like, “Yeah, I have, actually! Kind of you to call. Hang on a sec - I think the dog’s just escaped out the back,” and then don’t say anything else. After a few times of that they’ll probably give up, but if not, at least you’ll get a bit of a laugh when you hear them saying stuff like, “Hello? Are you there?” all confused. Normally I don’t like being rude, but if they won’t stop it’s fair enough to play their game. Or, you could always just block the number, haha.

They seemed nice enough, but there’s been no accident - not me or anyone in my family, so that call was a mistake.

I've been getting loads of calls about someone I don't know, all about a car insurance claim. Every time I ask them to take my number off their list, they say they will but the calls just keep coming back over and over again. It's really annoying!
