Just got a call from someone claiming I’m due a big PPI payout. She actually knew my name, which was a bit spooky. I told her straight away I haven’t got any PPI, but she kept pushing, saying she’d send me some forms. I said no thanks again, but she went on about how banks are cheating folks out of their full compensation and hiding the truth about PPI. Eventually, I just cut the call off. Honestly, I get bombarded with these types of calls about PPI and similar scams like 8 times a day. It’s driving me mad!

Looks like they’re now calling themselves The Reclaims Experts, but the scams haven’t changed one bit. Surely, everyone here could lump together and report them to the Information Commissioner and the Financial Ombudsman? That’s probably the only way we’ll ever get them to stop.

I missed this call too but it was from a number almost identical - I just deleted it and forgot to look at it before. The chat went like this: me saying hello, no reply, said hello again, still silence, then a voice says "who is this?" I told him he was the one who called me, and he goes "usually people say hello first." I told him I did, twice actually, then the idiot hung up. I'm pretty sure it was the same company!
