Been getting calls from these scamming losers nonstop, like multiple times a day for ages. Every time I blocked one number, they just switched to another. Eventually I just gave in. Now they somehow found my email and Skype and started hitting me there too. Total criminals, honestly. Don’t pick up, just block ’em straight away.

Most of the time it’s just scammers calling and they just put the phone down as soon as you pick up. Some even try to trick you with stuff about PPI, accident claims, or fake bank fees. Best thing is to just not pick up at all.

No idea who this is, it’s a number from Manchester but I’ve never met anyone there. I’m based in Edinburgh myself. It’s rung a handful of times but I never pick up and it’s never left a message. I’m guessing it’s one of them PPI sort of calls or one of those dodgy places ringing about some crash I apparently had ages ago that I know nothing about.

THEY SAY THEY'RE FROM MONEY RECLAIM EXPERTS AND KICK OFF BY ASKING IF THAT'S ****. WHEN I ASK WHO’S ON THE LINE, THEY REPEAT, “ARE YOU ****?” AND IF I PRESS FOR WHO THEY ARE, THEY EITHER HANG UP OR START YELLING AT ME. I TOLD THEM TO DELETE MY NUMBER FROM THEIR LIST, BUT THAT JUST MADE THEM EVEN MORE ABUSIVE. THEY KEEP RINGING FROM DIFFERENT MANCHESTER CODES LIKE 0161 503 2241 / 2227 / 2244, AND EVERY WEEK IT’S A NEW NUMBER, CALLING NONSTOP DAY AFTER DAY.

This number rang me at about 10.15 this morning. The caller was a young woman with a Manchester accent and even used my first name, sounding like she knew me well. Then she suddenly asked about my loans and which banks or building societies I’d used. I told her I’ve never taken a loan, but she just kept listing names of banks and building societies anyway. I got fed up and ended the call. At 84 years old, I really don’t need calls like that pestering me. It’s clearly another one of those PPI scams. Something should be done to stop these calls.
