When I pick up the phone, there's only utter silence on the other end, and they leave me a quiet voicemail. Yet, if I try to return the call, someone picks up instantly, but all I get is more silence. Quite peculiar, isn't it?

Got a pushy bloke from SA saying he's with Motor Care Services, but from what I see here, he didn’t even get the spoof name right - it’s supposed to be "Motor Claims Services". He was going on about some claim that’s total nonsense. When I asked for the company name, he snapped, "Are you googling it now, sir? I’ll just give you the website." Proper rude and short with me. The site he gave had nothing to do with their dodgy scam. Ended the call quick. Might have a bit of fun winding them up next time.

Got a call about making a claim for uninsured damages from a car crash that I was never involved in.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from MCS about some 'incident'. I said it was rubbish since I hadn’t had anything like that and told him I’ve been in insurance for 30 years. Then he switched gears, gave me a ref number and told me to contact my insurer to get it removed or my premiums might go up. Even though I knew it was a scam from my experience, he sounded quite believable and I reckon plenty of others might get fooled by his chat. Best to just ignore calls from this number!

Proper rude and really persistent. They refuse to remove my number from their list. Reckon I’m gonna get even more calls now. If it don’t stop, I’ll have to get in touch with EE.

I asked where their office was located. He just kept going with his usual speech. I told him I already knew it was somewhere in Manchester from the area code. He replied it was on Manchester Road. Well, duh! Then they passed me onto a 'senior line manager' who claimed the staff didn't know the address because they’re earning minimum wage and don’t pay any tax. I told him to call it a night since it was getting late. Such poor, clueless people.

I usually just ignore calls from unknown numbers, so I’m quite happy I didn’t pick up when 01615032092 called me. After reading all the comments about this number, it sounds pretty dodgy. If they’re trying to get you to make a claim for some accident that never actually happened, isn’t that basically asking you to take part in something dodgy or even fraudulent? Seems like a right scam to me.

I told them to take my number off their list, and they said they couldn’t do it because it would be fraud! Such a horrible attitude, really rude bloke. I ended up hanging up on him. Now I’m worried I’ll get hassled by loads more calls since they probably share my number.

Really disrespectful and aggressive. They centre everything around uninsured losses. They kick off with 'you’ve been in an accident,' then move onto 'have you suffered a work injury,' and keep pushing about those uninsured losses. I’ve told them over and over to take my number off their calling list. Every caller I’ve spoken to has been impolite. When I mention contacting the police, they just chuckle and dare me to do it.

When I mentioned I’d had a slight bump in my car, she implied it could jeopardise my insurance. I firmly stated no, but she insisted I’d marked the wrong box on the form. It’s utter nonsense and feels like a total con, preying on those who might be feeling a bit vulnerable.
