When I finally called them back, the person said it was Alliance Advisory, who’ve been ringing me nonstop every day! I asked them to delete my number from their list, and they did check my details and said I’m off now. Let’s see if it really sticks! The guy was quite polite though.

I’ve had a bunch of different numbers calling me, all blocked but they keep trying. Like others have said, I nicely asked them to take me off their list and the person on the other end tried to argue back. That’s when I just hung up.

Properly irritating and a bit harassing! Missed a call and rang back straight away. I got loads of calls from rude people saying I’m on their financial list and I’m entitled to some PPE. When I told them to take me off their list, they said they couldn’t do that until I listened to the whole chat. This morning, a call came through from this number, but I wasn't quick enough to pick up. When I tried returning the call, it rang just once before a bloke picked up. Unfortunately, the background din of what sounded like a call centre made it hard to catch his name or the company he represented. He then asked for me by name, which was a bit unsettling. When I requested him to repeat the name of the company, he abruptly hung up. The whole thing felt rather suspicious, if you ask me.

Got the standard "You could be due money from old loan or credit accounts" spiel. The lady on the line kept chuckling while she spoke, so I thought I'd humour her by pretending to check with every bank under the sun to see if I'd ever borrowed from them. After a while, she said she'd take my details off their list, but knowing how these things usually go, I’m not convinced at all.
