Somebody called me claiming to be from Reliance Advisory, but it felt really dodgy. They kept insisting I needed to sign up for some service right away. I tried asking questions, but they dodged them and sounded pushy like a telemarketer. Definitely didn’t seem legit, so I hung up before giving any info. Watch out if you get a call from them!

It began just last week, and now they ring me twice a day from Monday to Friday. Thankfully, no calls over the weekend, so maybe they have weekends off, haha. Usually, when I pick up, they hang up straight away or it’s just dead silence. One time they mentioned something about PPI. So today I left my phone charging upstairs and just went to grab my earphones from it. When I checked, turns out I had 6 missed calls from this number with a Manchester area code:

Seems like whoever it is took a break during what might be their lunch hour and finishes pestering folks by 5pm sharp. No idea who they are though.

Then there was a 7th call at 18:09 - maybe working a late shift?

UPDATE: While I was jotting this down, my phone rang from the same number. My son picked it up and it was yet another bloody PPI claim outfit. Pretty sure he said something like Reliance Finance? Such a nuisance!
