This number gives us a buzz every single day. We've answered a couple of times, but as soon as we do, the call cuts off. The minute our voicemail picks up, they never leave a message, which is pretty odd considering they seem keen on reaching us daily. If it was really important, you'd think they’d bother to leave a note! We've decided to just disregard the calls altogether. When I tried ringing the number back, I just got a recorded message saying my call would be transferred to the next available agent. Honestly, we have no interest in speaking to anyone from there.

Two were missed, two were silent, and then there was this utterly insufferable woman who hung up on us the moment she realised we hadn’t sustained any injuries. Not a word of thanks or even a farewell. It’s quite infuriating, to be honest. While we understand that some individuals may have a legitimate claim, this felt more like the antics of an ambulance chaser than anything else. A touch of empathy wouldn't have gone amiss, would it?

Ultimately, we decided to reach out to the head office of Auto Direct to inquire about the situation. Strangely enough, they had no clue about it but went ahead and removed our number from their records. After about a month, it appears the incessant calls have finally stopped. Let's hope it stays that way. Quite odd, indeed! By the way, I also contacted our mobile provider to ensure we weren't getting billed for those calls, and they confirmed that we wouldn’t be.
