I have a strong feeling that this phone number is linked to some dodgy dealings involving car finance. I received a call from a certain Lisa, representing what appeared to be a company involved in mis-selling car finance. The curious thing is, I've never engaged in any sort of car finance dealings, primarily because I don’t drive! I even tried to mention my trusty 1954 Raleigh bicycle during the conversation, but she didn’t seem particularly keen on that topic.

I got a call out of the blue from some company ive never heard of or had anything to do with before. Ive got my number on the do not call list so this kind of nuisance really bugs me. Why doesnt ofcom step in and penalise the people behind 222222729? It just seems wrong they can keep doing this with no consequences.

some bloke rang saying he was from some car loan compensation thing linked to barings law company. he sounded proper dodgy like one of them scams, so i just messsed about with him on the phone. as soon as he twigged i wasn’t serious, he just dropped the call.
