Got a call about business rates from some bloke who had no clue what my company’s name was. He never mentioned who he was representing either. I told him we had no interest, but he got all grumpy and started acting like he was smart. Guess what? He had the nerve to ring again the next day even after I told him to leave us alone.

I got a call from someone asking about business rates, and when I gave him an answer he didn't like, he got quite snappy. Just as I was trying to clarify and wrap up the call, he jumped down my throat, saying I was being rude and that I was trying to hang up on him. Then out of nowhere, he says ‘Alright then, I’ll end it here’ and just cuts me off without letting me say anything else. Having done cold calls and telesales myself, I know how annoying it can be, but this sort of behaviour isn’t the way to handle it at all.
