The thing is, I don’t even have a life insurance policy! I've only shared my home phone number with close family for emergencies, so it’s quite disconcerting to receive such calls. You'd naturally pick up thinking it’s something significant, only to be met with this rubbish. When I tried to return the call the following day, I was met with a recorded message saying the number was not currently in service. I was quite tempted to give them a piece of my mind, reminding them that this sort of practice is both illegal and extremely frustrating.
