I got a call from someone trying to confirm my number with some address info, which I refused and told them to remove my details from their system. Then their supervisor called straight after, like within 2 minutes, saying the same thing. I repeated I wanted my info off their database and they just hung up. Both callers had really thick Indian accents and the background was super noisy.

I’ve been getting calls from loads of different numbers but it’s always the same rubbish - either some funeral scheme, life insurance spiel, or some other dodgy excuse to try and snag your details. No chance with me, got caught out by these muppets last month and I’m not falling for it twice. So yeah, you can shove your numbers, they’re all blocked now.

Got a call from an unknown number, the person just asked for me, but when I said I wasn’t the person they wanted, they ended the call straight away. They kept calling back though, about five times over 45 minutes before finally giving up.

Got a dodgy call from a number starting with 161464, seems to be linked to Magrathea Telecommunications Limited, who are well known for being behind a lot of scam calls. Wouldn't trust anything from those lot.

I got calls from the same company like 11 times in a single day, I could tell cause they kept saying exactly the same thing every time. When I started shouting at them, they just hung up, but I never actually got to know what they was after since they dodged all my questions. They were clearly reading from a set script, and kept ringing me from loads of different numbers even though I kept blocking them.

I can't believe the nerve of this twisted individual who claimed he was reaching out to my wife about some inquiry of mine. I'm only 32 - what on earth would I need funeral arrangements for? It’s infuriating how these despicable scammers operate! Absolutely ridiculous!

Massive scam call! They start by asking if you’re so and so, then jump into some story about a car crash you supposedly had not long ago. Definitely dodgy and from a blocked number. Don’t trust it!

we just got a payout for mums ppi and then they ring asking for her surname! bit strange cos it was literally the day after we got paid.
