Yet another nuisance caller who keeps ringing without saying a word. I've had enough and have now blocked the number.

I received a rather dodgy call from someone attempting to persuade me into filling out a financial survey that clearly had all the hallmarks of a phishing scam. The accent of the caller was quite pronounced and definitely foreign. It’s baffling how they manage to get hold of my number! I've had to block at least four or five similar callers already!

It felt like some overseas call centre just wanting a quick 40 seconds of my attention. They said they were from a UK national office but weren’t trying to sell me anything. Quite suspicious if you ask me.

This number rang me twice today. I picked up the first call and a woman with a strong Indian accent spoke. When I asked her straight if it was about money, a survey, or a sales pitch, she went completely silent. I hung up pretty quick and have now put the number on my blocked list.

They kept saying 'Mrs' with my first name but never got it right. Couldn't even pronounce my own name properly.
