Got a call from AMS Accident about an accident I supposedly had. They said they had info on me in some database, but when I asked how they got it, they couldn’t really explain. Eventually I just hung up. Sounded like it was coming from an Indian call centre, and if they reckon they might have someone, they pass it up the chain. Ended up talking to a bloke who spoke with an Aussie accent, and honestly, he wasn’t very good at handling people at all. Definitely could use some better training.

So, I supposedly got into a car crash recently... which obviously isn't true. I've asked them more than ten times to take me off their calling list but they just keep ringing. If anyone manages to find their address, PLEASE share it here. I’m seriously thinking about paying them a visit for a little "chat".

This place sounds like a scam setup. Never share any details, not even your name, coz it might lead to other people in their firm getting in touch. If they ask for your name, just act clueless and say I dunno, you called me so you should already know who I am.

Proper rude lot, when I asked who they were, she just mumbled something then just hung up right away. They keep ringing our office number, dunno how they got it. They really need to stop pestering folks, when we say no it should be the end of it.

I had a rather peculiar phone call from this number and, seeing as I'm currently involved in a claim with Winns Solicitors, I presumed it was perhaps the other party's insurance ringing me. Naturally, I began probing them about how they obtained my information. Out of the blue, another bloke snatched the phone and started insisting that I was entitled to some sort of compensation. I pressed him for details regarding the source of my information and the date of the incident, but he was utterly clueless. So, I decided to reach out to Winns for clarification, and they promptly informed me that it was indeed a scam. Thank goodness I had the wit to question them-never hand over your personal information to these dodgy scammers!

Got a call from some bloke called David, asking if I was alright after a car accident - problem is, I don’t even own a car! So I just let him ramble on to waste his time. Then he asked me to confirm my address, and weirdly enough, he had the right one. That really ticked me off. I politely told him to delete all my details from their database or I’d consider legal action. He just laughed, called me a f##king b###h, and said “see you soon.” Honestly, that last comment made me pretty uncomfortable since he’s got all my info.

ALS. This lot keep calling with fake car crash claims. They rang me twice on Easter Monday, once just before tea and then again later in the evening. I’m thinking of reporting them to Ofcom, maybe they need a hand more than we do.

I’ve been inundated with calls from this number and others that bear the same initial digits. The callers purport to be from the legal department of my car insurance, concerning an accident I was involved in. It became apparent that their intentions were dubious when they urged me to fabricate injuries. After I informed them the matter was currently under a criminal investigation and that I’d need to document our discussion in my official statement, the relentless calls finally ceased - or so I thought. Regrettably, peace was fleeting, as they’ve resumed their barrage, ringing up to six times a day now.

Got a call from someone saying they were from ALS, claiming to be a claims team & said I’d been in a car crash this morning. This same number rang me last week too, so maybe I was in a crash then as well?? The bloke even knew my first name which was a bit creepy. quite sketchy. rang me from some call centre calling themselves ALS. they had no clue who they were meant to speak to but just blurted out "i understand everything is settled about your road accident." when i asked who exactly they were after, they just hung up. how are these types of companies not getting fined? i’m definitely telling ofcom about this.

Some bloke rang saying he was from the IMF, talking about a road accident supposedly linked to me. I was clueless, so he mentioned it was supposed to have happened in the last couple of years. Thing is, I've never been in any accident. Then he starts asking if anyone else in the house might have had one. Apparently, his records say a claim was already settled. He kept pushing, convinced someone here had an accident recently.

I played along and said yes, then she passed me onto some guy who asked a few questions and said they'd send me a cheque in the post. Some guy from South Africa rang me asking about a car accident I supposedly had in the past 3 years, and he even knew my name. When I told him I hadn’t had any accidents, he asked if anyone else in the house might’ve. I then questioned why he’d ask for me personally and where he got my number from. I had a rather unpleasant experience with a caller who was incredibly disrespectful. When I told them I wasn’t particularly interested in their conversation, they went so far as to insult me by calling me "retarded." They insisted I’d been involved in a car crash when I clearly hadn’t; I’m pretty certain I'd remember such an incident! It was quite bewildering, and after their rude remark, they simply terminated the call. Quite the nerve of some people, isn’t it?
