These individuals are nothing short of a complete nightmare. They're deceitful and will try to squeeze money out of you before doing any work. I strongly advise against handing over any upfront payments to these charlatans as they are masters of deception. Seriously, don't part with a single pound!

I received a rather dubious call from a so-called bank charge recovery outfit. They claimed they had a cheque for £3,850 ready to be delivered to me that very day. The call came in around half five in the evening, and to add to the confusion, these callers were based in Manchester while I’m situated in Milton Keynes. Here’s the catch: to facilitate this cheque delivery, they insisted I purchase a £300 UKASH voucher and provide them with the code to supposedly cover the VAT. For those unfamiliar, the code is what they need to claim the amount. I strongly advise against falling for this scam; it’s simply a ploy to part you from your hard-earned cash.

Hi there, just a quick note from our side. It seems we got it wrong - the callers who were reaching out to our mum were from RECLAIM MANAGEMENT. Consider this a heads-up! They’re definitely not to be trusted. It’s a scam! We really need to put a stop to them at once!

Received a call earlier today from someone claiming to be from Don’t Worry Loans. They mentioned that a chap would pop round to my home and, if I handed over £80, I'd receive a banker’s cheque for £1,500. I wasn’t having any of it-I've been duped twice before! When I pointed out that taking the money from the loan isn’t something I could do, they simply responded with 'sorry'. They went by the name Richard Recardo and said he was based at 26 Market Street, Manchester, M1 0PW. Proceed with caution, folks!

My father recently received a rather dubious call from a company named Reclaim Management Services, who insisted that he has a cheque waiting for him-an impressive sum exceeding £6,000 for some reclaimed bank charges. However, they’re asking him to purchase a Ukash voucher worth £150, which they claim will be reimbursed in cash right after we hand over the voucher and they provide the cheque. We decided to return their call, as this whole situation seems rather suspicious. They are adamant that this voucher is essential for registering the claim! Has anyone else encountered something similar? Their phone number is 01274792306.

We received a call claiming we were set to receive £2,630, and they mentioned a chap would drop off a cheque related to our PPI claim with our credit card. However, they insisted we purchase a Ukash voucher for the identification check and provide them with the code. Sounded rather dodgy, so I decided to look into Ukash, as I wasn't at all familiar with it. After giving them a ring, they confirmed it was a scam. We contacted the police, and they also said it's nothing but a con job. Just a heads up to everyone out there! The telephone number they used was 01274792306. Stay vigilant!

Greetings Judith, Just wanted to share my experience as we recently received a call from 01274792306, and it mirrors your own tale quite closely. It seems these individuals are still operating under that UK number. The call was eventually redirected to a number in India. Unfortunately, we fell for the enticing lure of a cash voucher and ended up losing £150. They then demanded we send £300 via postal services, which clued us into the fact that we were dealing with a scam. We reported the incident to our local police, but it appears that these scammers are quite elusive. The address they provided in West Yorkshire doesn't seem to correspond to any legitimate business. Regrettably, the authorities haven't managed to put a stop to their operations just yet. Here's hoping they get brought to justice soon!

An individual contacted our mother searching for us, but we no longer reside there. They claimed it was regarding some bank charges associated with flight bookings. Quite odd, considering we just booked a couple of flights on our credit card last week. Our mum reached out to us because the caller refused to disclose which bank he represented, and his English was rather poor. He introduced himself as Alex Jones, though he appeared to have an Indian accent. Definitely suspicious behaviour!
