Earlier today, on the 22nd of June, we received a call that appeared to be from Microsoft, and they mentioned the phone number 01604082628 for a callback. It seems they’re making these calls on a weekly basis.

Not long after receiving a few international calls from someone claiming to represent Microsoft regarding some supposed errors on our computer, we ended up with a callback number. However, we weren't about to share any details with a stranger over a cold call. We took the precaution of contacting Microsoft directly to verify the number, and they assured us that they never reach out to customers in that manner. They were quite grateful to receive the number for their investigation. Best not to fall for these scams-always double-check before engaging!
