Some bloke rang me up, said he got my digits from a "road traffic incident" or something daft like that, and asked if I'd had a accident recently. He reckoned I was owed about £4200 and that I'd get a cheque sent out in the post. I kept asking loads of questions which didn’t seem to sit well with him, and eventually he just got annoyed and hung up on me. What a weird call!

Right after I put up my ad on Gumtree, this number rang me three times saying I was involved in some sort of accident. Total scam, don’t waste your time - just block it immediately.

i've had calls like this twice before, yesterday from a different number which i blocked, and now from this one. it's always the same thing, some guy with an indian accent saying he’s calling about a car crash from 2 years ago and all that. i told him i'd report him to the coppers. these ppl are shady, don’t trust ’em or hand over any of your info.

I answered a call from this number since I often deal with folks in Manchester. The guy on the other end was speaking so fast and unclear, I couldn't make out anything. After a bit, he just dropped the call.
