Phone number ☎️ 01614080000 👆 is reported as a nuisance number linked to an Indian call centre operating under various names, notably CraftechBPO and Siddhi Vinayak Telelink, based in Jaipur. The centre makes persistent unsolicited calls to UK residents, often using a spoofed Manchester number, alleging involvement in fraudulent accident claims. Call recipients typically receive aggressive, misleading pitches about personal injury claims from callers with Indian accents, causing distress especially to those registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) or who have ex-directory numbers. Despite numerous complaints and reports to UK authorities, calls continue frequently, characterised by silence, hang-ups, or refusal to provide legitimate company details. Victims are advised to ignore calls, refrain from sharing personal information, report the number to relevant agencies, and consider blocking it to reduce repeated harassment.

10 yearsJust received a call from this number.10 yearsWe acquired this number through Skype back in April 2011, but astonishingly, we’ve never put it to use. Strangely enough, we're inundated with about ten voicemails daily from individuals insisting that we’ve called them, which is utterly untrue. To make matters worse, our regular Skype service is practically unusable, as we’re bombarded with a phone ringing every minute. We've lodged a complaint with Skype and have gone ahead to cancel the number due to this nonsense.Skype11 yearsReceived a call that suddenly dropped, and now I can’t return it-number’s not coming up as valid.12 yearsHello there! I'm the proprietor of CYC Vision Ltd, and I wanted to shed some light on a rather frustrating situation. We were associated with a Skype number from 2008 through 2010 but decided to discontinue it at the close of 2010 due to abysmal call quality. Unfortunately, my mobile number has found its way onto various websites, resulting in a barrage of calls from individuals who have been targeted by that old number. It's quite ironic, as I've likely received more calls than those who were actually rung by the scammers! I kindly request that people cease calling my mobile. Thank you!CYC Vision Ltd12 yearsIt appears that the VoIP number currently in use is linked to an Indian call centre operating under these names: CraftechBPO.com SIDDHI VINAYAK TELELINK PVT. LTD. I found a job listing he put up in Jaipur that kind of explains why we’re flooded with these calls here in the UK: Hello, Hope you're well. We're launching a new voice process for call centres. You've probably heard about the Personal Injury process - it pays well, but the issue centres face is getting solicitors to accept the leads. Our fix? We only generate leads that meet the exact criteria, so you don’t have to worry about acceptance. All leads get checked by our CMC and you’ll be paid within 48 hours. What’s annoying is that my number is ex-directory and I’m signed up with the TPS!EmmaAccident InvestigationsTPS12 yearsGot a call from this number and the person on the line was speaking really broken English, claiming they were from some accident department. They told me someone linked to my number had been in a crash. It really annoyed me because some poor soul might have panicked thinking a loved one was hurt badly or in a hospital. These kinds of cold calls are so frustrating, especially since I’m ex directory - they should just quit it.12 yearsGot a ring from this number earlier. As soon as I picked up, I could tell the bloke had an accent and asked what he wanted. When he said something about claiming for an accident, I flat out told him to jog on, or words along those lines. He then said that wasn’t it, so I asked what the call was about. He said something like 'I think you were in a no-fault accident'. I informed him I’m ex-directory and told him to stop calling before just hanging up. Honestly, these calls happening every day are really grinding my gears.12 yearsGot a call today at 11.10am from 01614080000 on my brand new x directory number. If anyone’s got the name or contact info for this company, please share - caller was some unknown accident chasing outfit.12 yearsThey kept calling non stop asking if we’d been in some kind of accident. We told them we’d lost a leg after falling down the stairs in a council house just to mess about, and it took them ages to realise we were having a laugh before ending the call. But the ringing didn’t stop. Eventually, I grabbed a whistle from the desk and blew it down the receiver - that seemed to do the trick!12 yearsGot a call from these muppets doing the usual RTA spiel. Told the bloke to jog on and find something better to do with his time. He wasn’t too pleased and rang me back. I said the same thing and cut him off. Then he called again like ten seconds later. Pro tip: keep a kazoo or whistle nearby, blast it in their ear, and don’t forget to tell ’em to sort out a real job!12 yearsI’ve been getting nonstop calls to a business line about some accident. I told him we’re ex-directory and he really shouldn’t be ringing, but he claimed he had permission to contact ex-directory numbers. He kept insisting he needed to check about an accident, but I firmly told him I wasn’t interested, was trying to have my lunch before a meeting, and to never call back. Then I just ended the call. Didn’t give any details about who or when or where. I asked why they were ringing me since I’m on the TPS. The guy insisted it wasn’t marketing, just a verification call, so TPS didn’t matter... yeah, right, like I just saw pigs flying outside. Looks like one of those auto diallers where they don’t have enough people to answer. I’m on the TPS so they really shouldn’t be ringing me at all. Usually gets through about 5 or 6 times in a night. Totally annoying and definitely unwanted. ZoeTelephone Preference ServiceZoe12 yearsI work for a rubbish disposal company and this number has rung us like 18 times over the past fortnight! Eventually, I just played along and told the bloke I’d hurt my finger but stuck on a plaster and it’s all good now, cheers for asking. Surprisingly, he went with it and said I could get a payout! Curious, I asked what sort of amount. He reckoned up to £4000! I said well, that sounds great, that’d cover my Chrimbo shopping no bother. Got a bit bored after that and just ended the call!12 yearsI picked up and started with our usual business intro, but the person on the other end just dropped the call straight away, didn’t say a word!12 yearsThis number keeps ringing me up nonstop. Whenever I pick up, they just drop the call as soon as my voicemail starts. It's some foreign voice talking about an accident tied to someone living at my place, trying to get me to claim for an injury.12 yearsI've been getting calls from this number at least 5 times a day when I'm in, and every time no one says a word - they just stay quiet for like 20 seconds and then they hang up. Feels kinda spooky, like they're trying to see if someone's around.12 yearsI just got a call from this number claiming that someone living with me had a minor car crash in the last three years. It felt a bit dodgy, so I asked for their identity. The guy on the phone said they’re legal advisors, but he was really hard to understand - sounded like he had an Asian accent. I told him to send me a letter instead. When I kept asking who exactly he was and who they were trying to reach, he just kept saying ‘someone in your household’. I told him nobody here has had any accident. Then he threatened me, saying if I was caught lying, I’d owe them £5000. I just hung up after that.12 yearsGot a call from a Manchester number, though the caller ID said "International". The bloke on the phone, sounded Asian, asked if I run a business. I told him it’s just my home line, nothing commercial. He quickly apologised, saying maybe he got the info wrong. He was quite polite, which kinda doesn’t match up with what I’ve seen others say about these calls.ManchesterInternational12 yearsThey keep ringing me up, got a few calls from them over the past week.12 yearsCalled on 19th November at 11:34, bloke said he was ringing from some accident claims outfit, sounded like it might be from abroad. Told him my number's registered with the TPS, so he'd be ringing illegally. The moment I said that, he just cut off the call.Telephone Preference Service12 yearsThis number called me yesterday morning but hung up as soon as my voicemail asked who was calling before I picked up. Later that evening, when calls didn’t cost me anything, I rang them back loads of times, leaving several messages on their answerphone. In some of the messages, I even left quiet gaps before talking, hoping to annoy whoever listens later. Looking back now, I’m kinda surprised by the language I used - not usually one for swearing like that! Still, if they get as annoyed listening to my messages as I was getting their calls, it’s probably worth it. Maybe if enough people do the same, they’ll finally get it. Just remember to hide your number before ringing them!12 yearsOver the past few weeks, this number has kept ringing me up, asking about an accident that supposedly happened at my place a few years ago. They sound like a foreign company and come across as pretty pushy. Honestly, I wish there was a way to block these calls for good.12 yearsToday (18/11/2014) I received a call from this number. The bloke on the phone sounded foreign and started telling me that someone at my place had an accident a couple of days ago. I knew right away that was nonsense. I called him out on it, but he just denied it. In the end, I just hung up on him.12 yearsThat number just called me. I said I didn’t give them my digits, and then they started pushing me to say who lives with me. I told them to jog on nicely but then they got rude, threatening to ring again and warning me to be careful. I only got annoyed because they’ve been calling nonstop every day. Bit anxious about it now, to be honest.12 yearsThis number called me as well, and I kept refusing to give any info until I made it clear that nobody at my place had any accident or got hurt. By the way, I’m on the TPS list.Telephone Preference Service12 yearsGot a call saying it was about some accident I'd supposedly been in. Never had any accident at all.12 yearsLast week I got called by these lot more than 60 times - it’s ridiculous! How come the government can’t put a stop to this? Seems like they’re just not doing their job properly.12 yearsI ended the call as soon as they mentioned Traffic Management - figured it was some claim about an accident or something. The number started with 0161, which I know is from Manchester, but weirdly it showed up as an international number on my phone.Traffic ManagementManchester12 yearsI didn’t answer because the call came from an International number and seemed dodgy. I’m on the TPS list, so why am I still getting these calls? Feels like registering doesn't really make a difference.InternationalTPS12 yearsBeen getting calls from this number non stop about some accident. I only just got this number too, how on earth did they find it? Proper annoying pestering!12 yearsThis number has rung me a few times and I kept ignoring it, but finally I got tired and picked up. Some bloke named Jordon started with the usual sales patter. I told him I was on the TPS register and that I’d be reporting him before hanging up. Then he rang me back, making all sorts of threats and saying he was cleverer than me. I just ended the call again and since then he’s tried a couple more times but I didn’t pick up anymore. Honestly, someone needs to put a stop to these dodgy calls.JordonTelephone Preference Service12 yearsGot a call from this number earlier, they claimed it was "diverted" and started asking if I’d been in any accidents over the past few years. I played along, telling them a silly story about slipping outside a bar. Then the guy said he'd pass me on to his supervisor, but I ended the call right there!12 yearsA few days back, I got a call from someone doing exactly the same scam. It really shook my elderly mum, who’s 92, as she honestly believed her son had been hurt on his way to work that morning. It was absolutely cruel and I’m desperate to find out how to report these sorts of calls.12 yearsI got a call from this number and the bloke started banging on about some accident. I had no clue what he was on about and asked him what accident he meant. But he kept pushing, saying I was obliged by law to give him the details. I put him to the test and said if he wanted my time, it'd cost him £150 an hour, and if he provided a company name and address, I’d send an invoice straight away. That’s when he just hung up.12 yearsGot a call from this number just now. The person on the line had an Indian accent and was mumbling something about an accident, but I had no clue what he was trying to say. I told him to speak clearer and then he just hung up. I've blocked the number straight away.12 yearsThis number rang me again today, which is so frustrating. Then, just five minutes later, they called once more but I just ended up hanging up on both times. Like lots of others have said, I'm on the ex-directory list, so they really shouldn't be able to contact me!12 yearsIt's mad how despite loads of complaints, these lot still manage to ring!!! Proper annoying!!! I've got an ex-directory number and it doesn't seem to faze them one bit if I’m on the TPS or not, they just ignore it completely.TPSSubmit Your Own Report (0161 408 0000)
