Phone number ☎️ 01614080000 👆 is reported as a nuisance number linked to an Indian call centre operating under various names, notably CraftechBPO and Siddhi Vinayak Telelink, based in Jaipur. The centre makes persistent unsolicited calls to UK residents, often using a spoofed Manchester number, alleging involvement in fraudulent accident claims. Call recipients typically receive aggressive, misleading pitches about personal injury claims from callers with Indian accents, causing distress especially to those registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) or who have ex-directory numbers. Despite numerous complaints and reports to UK authorities, calls continue frequently, characterised by silence, hang-ups, or refusal to provide legitimate company details. Victims are advised to ignore calls, refrain from sharing personal information, report the number to relevant agencies, and consider blocking it to reduce repeated harassment.

Just received a call from this number.

We acquired this number through Skype back in April 2011, but astonishingly, we’ve never put it to use. Strangely enough, we're inundated with about ten voicemails daily from individuals insisting that we’ve called them, which is utterly untrue. To make matters worse, our regular Skype service is practically unusable, as we’re bombarded with a phone ringing every minute. We've lodged a complaint with Skype and have gone ahead to cancel the number due to this nonsense.

Hello there! I'm the proprietor of CYC Vision Ltd, and I wanted to shed some light on a rather frustrating situation. We were associated with a Skype number from 2008 through 2010 but decided to discontinue it at the close of 2010 due to abysmal call quality. Unfortunately, my mobile number has found its way onto various websites, resulting in a barrage of calls from individuals who have been targeted by that old number. It's quite ironic, as I've likely received more calls than those who were actually rung by the scammers! I kindly request that people cease calling my mobile. Thank you!

It appears that the VoIP number currently in use is linked to an Indian call centre operating under these names: CraftechBPO.com SIDDHI VINAYAK TELELINK PVT. LTD. Their office is situated at B.S. Tower, Second Floor, New Sanganer Road, Jaipur, 302019, Rajasthan, India. You can reach them at +91-9928665958 or explore their offerings on their website at www.craftechbpo.com. For direct inquiries, you may also contact them via email at [email protected]. As for the director, his name is Yogesh Rupani. His contact particulars include Skype: yogesh_rupani and an email address of [email protected]. He can be reached at the same phone number: +919928665958. One might wonder if Yogesh is fully aware of the impact that his call centre's outreach is having on individuals here in the UK.

If you want to get in touch with the head of the call centre behind these annoying calls, here’s his contact info. I found a job listing he posted in a Jaipur job portal that sheds some light on why we’re flooded with calls in the UK: Payments for each verified lead: £130 (paid every 48 hours) Director’s phone: +919928665958 Skype: yogesh_rupani Email: [email protected] Yogesh Rupani runs craftechbpo.com, the Indian call centre using the spoofed UK number 01614080000. Due to numerous complaints and bad reviews, they’ve even had to take down their Facebook page now that people know who’s behind these calls. If you happen to get one of these irritating calls, especially if you’re on the TPS like me, don’t hesitate to complain straight to Yogesh!

If you want to get in touch with the head of the call centre behind these annoying calls, here’s the contact info. I found a job listing he put up in Jaipur that kind of explains why we’re flooded with these calls here in the UK: Hello, Hope you're well. We're launching a new voice process for call centres. You've probably heard about the Personal Injury process - it pays well, but the issue centres face is getting solicitors to accept the leads. Our fix? We only generate leads that meet the exact criteria, so you don’t have to worry about acceptance. All leads get checked by our CMC and you’ll be paid within 48 hours. Each verified lead gets £130 paid out every 48 hours. Yogesh’s contact: +919928665958 Skype: yogesh_rupani Email: [email protected] Yogesh Rupani runs craftechbpo.com - the call centre in India that’s been spoofing the number 01614080000. They already took down their Facebook page after plenty of bad reviews once their operation was exposed. If, like me, you’re on the TPS and get these pointless calls, don’t hesitate to give Yogesh a piece of your mind directly. - caller: craftechbpo.com

Got a call from someone named "Robin Smith" at about 4:20pm on the 2nd of Feb, 2015. They showed the number 01614080000, but it’s actually a fake number linked to a call centre over in Jaipur, India. The place behind it is called SIDDHI VINAYAK TELELINK PVT. LTD., located on the second floor of B.S. Tower, New Sanganer Road, Jaipur, Rajasthan, postcode 302019. Their contact number over there is +91-9928665958, and they’ve got a website at www.craftechbpo.com with the email [email protected]. Turns out these guys peddle accident claim leads to UK firms that don't seem to care much about the ICO rules, since they’re outsourcing to overseas call centres. Pretty dodgy, if you ask me.

We acquired this number through Skype back in April 2011 and, oddly enough, it hasn’t been put to use at all. However, we are bombarded with nearly a thousand voicemails daily from individuals claiming we've contacted them, which is simply not the case. To make matters worse, our regular Skype isn't operational either, as we receive incessant phone rings every minute, making it virtually impossible to use. We’ve already flagged this issue with Skype, and the number has since been terminated.

Got a call from this number and the person on the line was speaking really broken English, claiming they were from some accident department. They told me someone linked to my number had been in a crash. It really annoyed me because some poor soul might have panicked thinking a loved one was hurt badly or in a hospital. These kinds of cold calls are so frustrating, especially since I’m ex directory - they should just quit it.

Got a ring from this number earlier. As soon as I picked up, I could tell the bloke had an accent and asked what he wanted. When he said something about claiming for an accident, I flat out told him to jog on, or words along those lines. He then said that wasn’t it, so I asked what the call was about. He said something like 'I think you were in a no-fault accident'. I informed him I’m ex-directory and told him to stop calling before just hanging up. Honestly, these calls happening every day are really grinding my gears.

Got a call today at 11.10am from 01614080000 on my brand new x directory number. It was one of those accident chasing firms. When I asked them to remove me from their records, the guy said, “We can take your number but we can’t delete you!” Charming bloke. If anyone’s got the name or contact info for this company, please share - caller was some unknown accident chasing outfit.

They kept calling non stop asking if we’d been in some kind of accident. We told them we’d lost a leg after falling down the stairs in a council house just to mess about, and it took them ages to realise we were having a laugh before ending the call. But the ringing didn’t stop. Eventually, I grabbed a whistle from the desk and blew it down the receiver - that seemed to do the trick!

Got a call from these muppets doing the usual RTA spiel. Told the bloke to jog on and find something better to do with his time. He wasn’t too pleased and rang me back. I said the same thing and cut him off. Then he called again like ten seconds later. So I started blowing loudly on my kazoo at him. That seemed to do the trick because he hung up. Pro tip: keep a kazoo or whistle nearby, blast it in their ear, and don’t forget to tell ’em to sort out a real job!

Just got a call from a bloke with a very British sounding name, but he spoke with a strange accent. He said he was ringing from some sort of accident company - couldn’t catch the exact name since I was stuffing a sandwich in my mouth at the time! When I asked why he was calling, he said he wanted to confirm if anyone at my address had been involved in an accident over the past three years. I told him we’re ex-directory and he really shouldn’t be ringing, but he claimed he had permission to contact ex-directory numbers. He kept insisting he needed to check about an accident, but I firmly told him I wasn’t interested, was trying to have my lunch before a meeting, and to never call back. Then I just ended the call. Used to be polite with these calls, but now I just hang up straight away.

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be from Accident Compensation UK Ltd, wanted me to “verify” if anyone at my number had an accident in the past three years. Didn’t give any details about who or when or where. I asked why they were ringing me since I’m on the TPS. The guy insisted it wasn’t marketing, just a verification call, so TPS didn’t matter... yeah, right, like I just saw pigs flying outside. He kept saying he wasn’t trying to sell me anything... now I’m seeing a whole squadron of pigs in the sky. I’ve reported it to TPS and ICO but honestly, I doubt they’ll do much to stop these annoying calls.

Really annoying calls from this number - kept ringing back because I have an elderly family member who just moved nearby and I was trying to confirm their new phone number. I called back four times in one day but never got through to anyone. It was worrying, especially since they called me four times within five hours and then just stopped responding. Big thanks to everyone who posted here earlier, it helped me figure out what was going on.

Got a call earlier today, it was dead silent for a moment then some bloke with an Indian accent called himself Robert and said he was from some sort of Investigation Service (didn't catch the first bit, it was all a bit mumbled). I instantly thought, here we go, some private detective or scam trying to catch me out! He paused briefly and I jumped in but was struggling to find my words - I reckon it’s because of this migraine I've got, makes me all mixed up. He looked like he thought he was chatting to some doddery old lady. Eventually I blurted out 'Telephone preference service' and asked 'Is that alright?' He went quiet and I hung up. Tried calling back a few secs later but only got silence. Well, at least now I’ve got a plan for next time - or maybe I’ll just tell ’em I’m at the dog shelter or summat!

Got a ring today from this number, and the guy said someone linked to it had a car crash within the last three years. The connection was pretty rubbish, and he had an Asian accent. I told him he'd reached my work number by mistake, and then he just said he’d fix his info and ended the call.

Today my team got swamped with calls from these so-called 'Accident Helpline' morons.

Like a lot of people here, I got no reply for ages, then suddenly they just cut me off. Feels like one of those dodgy scam calls to me.

this number called me and the bloke on the other end was so rude and full of himself, questioning who I was like I was some fool. honestly, what a muppet!

This number has been blowing my phone up like crazy today, probably called me over ten times already. They keep pushing even after I've told them I'm not interested. Seems like it’s from some business line too. Anyone knows a way to block them for good?

Just got a call from this number sayin someone from my family was in a car crash. I told the bloke I already dealt with it. The guy, who spoke with an Asian accent, tried to pass me on to his boss but I hung up straight away.

Got a call from a bloke named Ben, sounded like he was from the Indian subcontinent, trying to con me about accident claims. Honestly, the safest bet is to just hang up straight away or waste their time any way you like. After that, make sure you report these annoying callers to the ICO. The number he showed, starting 0161, is faked - it’s actually a Vodafone (C&W) geographic number being misused. It’s kinda impressive how they use the Internet to spoof numbers and make it sound like you’re getting a local Mancunian call. What a pain!

Got a call earlier from someone saying they were with the Accident Investigation Department. They claimed they had a file on an accident involving me. I asked what accident and where they got the file from, but they wouldn't give me any info “due to security reasons.” Then they asked if I had an accident at all, which sounded dodgy to me. Right after I ended the call, I got a recorded PPI call, and before that, I’d just hung up on a survey. Signing up to TPS doesn’t seem to stop these annoying calls at all.

This number has called me twice now, each time claiming that someone living with me was involved in a car crash within the past three years. When I pressed for more details, the person with an accent said they weren’t allowed to share anything else. I also asked how they found my number, but they dodged the question. We're ex-directory, so I’m baffled as to how these dodgy callers get hold of supposedly private numbers!

I got a call from someone saying they were with Accident Compensation UK Ltd. I asked if they had a website, and they told me it was www.accidentcompensation.co.uk. When I checked the site, there was a notice warning that some callers are pretending to be connected to that company. The site clearly states they don’t do any claims management work and never make unsolicited calls. If you get one of these cold calls, you should contact Consumer Direct. It’s helpful to jot down the caller’s number, the time and date, and any details from the chat. You can reach Consumer Direct on 0845 404 0506 or visit their page at http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/ for assistance.

Ever since I switched my BT landline to dodge these nuisance calls, I've been getting calls from this number and loads of others. I never shared my new number with anyone, yet here we are. I ended up getting a call blocker and put this number on there, plus all calls that show as withheld or from abroad (starting with 00). It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely cut down the amount of these annoying calls. I reckon eventually I’ll just block every call unless it’s someone I actually know and have saved. Seems like that’s the only way forward! -_-

This number has been calling me loads, both at my job and at my house. It’s really annoying and I just end up hanging up most of the time. I don’t get why there’s no way to put an end to these calls.

Around 2 in the afternoon, this number popped up on my phone (I'm on the ex-directory list). There was some weird crackly sound, sounded like one of those call centre lines, then they just cut me off. - Number was 0161 448 0000

Got a ring from this number earlier - sounded like an Asian bloke. He was asking if I’d been in an accident, which I told him I hadn’t, and then told him to never call me back. He replied with some nonsense like "I’ll call you a thousand times!" Honestly, I wasn't too polite in my response... Seeing all the complaints about this hassle, I don’t get why nothing’s being done about it. The TPS doesn’t really block calls from foreign numbers or companies based outside the UK, so it doesn't help much. So frustrating!

Got a call for my mum today from someone with a funny accent claiming there was a crash a few years back. Total nonsense, looks like a scammer fishing for info from older people. Tried ringing them back but no reply at all. Watch out, sounds dodgy!

I don’t understand why the TPS aren’t taking any action against this number they’re clearly aware of! It’s frustrating how they just sit on their hands instead of doing something about it.

Got a call from 01614080000 about some claim handling related to Road Traffic Management. They asked if I'd been in a car accident in the past three years. Told them no one here has had any accidents, and they said they'd update their info. Bit of a weird call really.

This evening I got a call from this same number. A guy with a strange accent claimed I’d been in some kind of accident - which I definitely hadn’t. When I told him that, he began yelling at me saying I was fibbing and that I owed £500. He kept saying he had all my details - name, address, phone number - but I just ended the call. Total loonies!!

This number rings but no one picks up. Looks like one of those auto diallers where they don’t have enough people to answer. I’m on the TPS so they really shouldn’t be ringing me at all. Usually gets through about 5 or 6 times in a night. Totally annoying and definitely unwanted. Zoe

I work for a rubbish disposal company and this number has rung us like 18 times over the past fortnight! Eventually, I just played along and told the bloke I’d hurt my finger but stuck on a plaster and it’s all good now, cheers for asking. Surprisingly, he went with it and said I could get a payout! Curious, I asked what sort of amount. He reckoned up to £4000! I said well, that sounds great, that’d cover my Chrimbo shopping no bother. Got a bit bored after that and just ended the call!

This number keeps ringing me up nonstop. Whenever I pick up, they just drop the call as soon as my voicemail starts. It's some foreign voice talking about an accident tied to someone living at my place, trying to get me to claim for an injury.

I've been getting calls from this number at least 5 times a day when I'm in, and every time no one says a word - they just stay quiet for like 20 seconds and then they hang up. Feels kinda spooky, like they're trying to see if someone's around.

I just got a call from this number claiming that someone living with me had a minor car crash in the last three years. It felt a bit dodgy, so I asked for their identity. The guy on the phone said they’re legal advisors, but he was really hard to understand - sounded like he had an Asian accent. I told him to send me a letter instead. When I kept asking who exactly he was and who they were trying to reach, he just kept saying ‘someone in your household’. I told him nobody here has had any accident. Then he threatened me, saying if I was caught lying, I’d owe them £5000. I just hung up after that.

Got a call from a Manchester number, though the caller ID said "International". The bloke on the phone, sounded Asian, asked if I run a business. I told him it’s just my home line, nothing commercial. He quickly apologised, saying maybe he got the info wrong. He was quite polite, which kinda doesn’t match up with what I’ve seen others say about these calls.

Called on 19th November at 11:34, bloke said he was ringing from some accident claims outfit, sounded like it might be from abroad. Told him my number's registered with the TPS, so he'd be ringing illegally. The moment I said that, he just cut off the call.

This number called me yesterday morning but hung up as soon as my voicemail asked who was calling before I picked up. Later that evening, when calls didn’t cost me anything, I rang them back loads of times, leaving several messages on their answerphone. In some of the messages, I even left quiet gaps before talking, hoping to annoy whoever listens later. Looking back now, I’m kinda surprised by the language I used - not usually one for swearing like that! Still, if they get as annoyed listening to my messages as I was getting their calls, it’s probably worth it. Maybe if enough people do the same, they’ll finally get it. Just remember to hide your number before ringing them!

Over the past few weeks, this number has kept ringing me up, asking about an accident that supposedly happened at my place a few years ago. They sound like a foreign company and come across as pretty pushy. Honestly, I wish there was a way to block these calls for good.

Today (18/11/2014) I received a call from this number. The bloke on the phone sounded foreign and started telling me that someone at my place had an accident a couple of days ago. I knew right away that was nonsense. I called him out on it, but he just denied it. In the end, I just hung up on him.

That number just called me. I said I didn’t give them my digits, and then they started pushing me to say who lives with me. I told them to jog on nicely but then they got rude, threatening to ring again and warning me to be careful. I only got annoyed because they’ve been calling nonstop every day. Bit anxious about it now, to be honest.

I ended the call as soon as they mentioned Traffic Management - figured it was some claim about an accident or something. The number started with 0161, which I know is from Manchester, but weirdly it showed up as an international number on my phone.

This number has rung me a few times and I kept ignoring it, but finally I got tired and picked up. Some bloke named Jordon started with the usual sales patter. I told him I was on the TPS register and that I’d be reporting him before hanging up. Then he rang me back, making all sorts of threats and saying he was cleverer than me. I just ended the call again and since then he’s tried a couple more times but I didn’t pick up anymore. Honestly, someone needs to put a stop to these dodgy calls.

Got a call from this number earlier, they claimed it was "diverted" and started asking if I’d been in any accidents over the past few years. A few days back, I got a call from someone doing exactly the same scam. It really shook my elderly mum, who’s 92, as she honestly believed her son had been hurt on his way to work that morning. It was absolutely cruel and I’m desperate to find out how to report these sorts of calls.

I got a call from this number and the bloke started banging on about some accident. I had no clue what he was on about and asked him what accident he meant. But he kept pushing, saying I was obliged by law to give him the details. I put him to the test and said if he wanted my time, it'd cost him £150 an hour, and if he provided a company name and address, I’d send an invoice straight away. That’s when he just hung up.

This number rang me again today, which is so frustrating. Then, just five minutes later, they called once more but I just ended up hanging up on both times. Like lots of others have said, I'm on the ex-directory list, so they really shouldn't be able to contact me!

It's mad how despite loads of complaints, these lot still manage to ring!!! Proper annoying!!! I've got an ex-directory number and it doesn't seem to faze them one bit if I’m on the TPS or not, they just ignore it completely.
