Just received a call from this number.

We acquired this number through Skype back in April 2011, but astonishingly, we’ve never put it to use. Strangely enough, we're inundated with about ten voicemails daily from individuals insisting that we’ve called them, which is utterly untrue. To make matters worse, our regular Skype service is practically unusable, as we’re bombarded with a phone ringing every minute. We've lodged a complaint with Skype and have gone ahead to cancel the number due to this nonsense.

Hello there! I'm the proprietor of CYC Vision Ltd, and I wanted to shed some light on a rather frustrating situation. We were associated with a Skype number from 2008 through 2010 but decided to discontinue it at the close of 2010 due to abysmal call quality. Unfortunately, my mobile number has found its way onto various websites, resulting in a barrage of calls from individuals who have been targeted by that old number. It's quite ironic, as I've likely received more calls than those who were actually rung by the scammers! I kindly request that people cease calling my mobile. Thank you!

It appears that the VoIP number currently in use is linked to an Indian call centre operating under these names: CraftechBPO.com SIDDHI VINAYAK TELELINK PVT. LTD. Their office is situated at B.S. Tower, Second Floor, New Sanganer Road, Jaipur, 302019, Rajasthan, India. You can reach them at +91-9928665958 or explore their offerings on their website at www.craftechbpo.com. For direct inquiries, you may also contact them via email at [email protected]. As for the director, his name is Yogesh Rupani. His contact particulars include Skype: yogesh_rupani and an email address of [email protected]. He can be reached at the same phone number: +919928665958. One might wonder if Yogesh is fully aware of the impact that his call centre's outreach is having on individuals here in the UK.

Should you wish to get in touch with the head of the Call Centre responsible for these incessant calls, I’ve included his details below. I've also shared an advertisement he posted in a local employment forum in Jaipur that sheds light on the sheer volume of calls we receive here in the UK:

Compensation for each verified lead: £130 per lead (payment processed every 48 hours)
Yogesh's contact number: +919928665958
Skype ID: yogesh_rupani
Email: [email protected]

Yogesh Rupani is the managing director of craftechbpo.com, an Indian call centre operating under the misleading phone number of 01614080000. Following numerous complaints, they’ve even had to take down their Facebook page since their shady practices have been brought to light.

Don’t hesitate to reach out to Yogesh directly if you find yourself receiving one of these vexatious calls, especially if you’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service like I am.

Should you wish to have a word with the individual overseeing the call centre responsible for these persistent calls, I’ve included his details below. To shed light on the sheer volume of calls we’re receiving in the UK, I’ve also shared an excerpt from a job advertisement he posted in a local employment hub in Jaipur: Hello there, I trust you’re all well. We’re rolling out a new voice process initiative tailored for call centres. You might be aware of the Personal Injury sector, which boasts significant payouts; however, centres often struggle with the solicitor lead acceptance ratio. We’ve come up with a remedy for this - we’re sourcing leads that are pre-qualified according to particular criteria. Therefore, you can rest assured about their acceptance, as the leads generated will be vetted by our Claims Management Company, ensuring you receive your payment within 48 hours. Payout details: Each verified lead earns you £130. (Payments are made every 48 hours) Should you need to reach Yogesh, here’s how: Phone: +919928665958 Skype: yogesh_rupani Email: [email protected] Yogesh Rupani is the director of craftechbpo.com - the Indian call centre using the deceptive phone number 01614080000. Due to mounting complaints and unfavourable reviews, craftechbpo.com has even had to take down their Facebook page now that their dubious operations have come to light. Don’t hesitate to reach out to Yogesh directly if you happen to receive one of these bothersome calls, especially if, like me, you’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). - Caller: craftechbpo.com

I received a call from someone identifying themselves as "Robin Smith" at 16:20 on the 2nd of February, 2015. The number displayed was 01614080000, but it turns out to be a fraudulent number that links back to a call centre based in Jaipur, India. The details of the call centre are as follows: **SIDDHI VINAYAK TELELINK PVT. LTD.** Address: B.S. Tower, Second Floor New Sanganer Road, Jaipur, 302019 Rajasthan, India Phone: +91-9928665958 Website: www.craftechbpo.com Email: [email protected] Their modus operandi involves peddling leads for "accident claims" to various firms in the UK, clearly disregarding the ICO's regulations on the use of overseas call centres. It’s quite concerning how these companies operate without any regard for compliance!

We acquired this number through Skype back in April 2011 and, oddly enough, it hasn’t been put to use at all. However, we are bombarded with nearly a thousand voicemails daily from individuals claiming we've contacted them, which is simply not the case. To make matters worse, our regular Skype isn't operational either, as we receive incessant phone rings every minute, making it virtually impossible to use. We’ve already flagged this issue with Skype, and the number has since been terminated.

I received a call from this number, and the person on the other end was speaking rather poorly in English. They claimed to be from some sort of accident department, insisting that someone using my number was involved in an accident. It really riles me up! Just imagine how someone else might have freaked out, thinking a loved one was in a dire situation at a hospital. Honestly, these cold callers need to pack it in, especially since I’m supposed to be unlisted!

I recently received a call from this number, and as soon as I picked up, I inquired about the purpose of the call from the chap with a rather heavy accent. I made it quite clear that if he was trying to inform me about some supposed accident compensation, he could take a hike-though I may have phrased it a touch more colourfully. He claimed that wasn’t the case, so I pressed him, only for him to assert, ‘I believe you’ve experienced a no-fault accident.’ I then reminded him I’m ex-directory and requested he cease contacting me before hanging up. I've had it up to here with these annoying calls every single day!

I received a call on my shiny new x-directory number from 01614080000 at 11:10 this morning. Turns out it was some sort of accident claim chasing firm. When I requested that they remove my number from their list, they had the audacity to say, "We can take you off our list, but we can’t delete you entirely!" Charming, isn’t it? If anyone has any info regarding the name of this company or how to reach them, I'd be very grateful! The caller was an unfamiliar accident chasing service.

I can’t believe how relentless these callers are! They keep pestering us about whether we've had an accident. We even spun them a yarn about losing a leg after a tumble down the stairs in a council flat, and it took them an eternity to realise we were having a laugh. They finally hung up after five minutes! But, lo and behold, they still kept calling back. In a moment of inspiration, I discovered a whistle in the office and gave it a good blast down the line-thankfully, that did the trick! I must say, it’s quite a sport winding them up!

I received a call from these jokers who launched into their usual road traffic accident sales pitch. I firmly told them to take a hike and, well, let’s just say my language was a tad colourful. The bloke on the other end didn’t take too kindly to that and decided to ring me again. I reiterated my previous sentiments and ended the call. Yet, wouldn’t you know it, he called me back a mere ten seconds later! So, I picked up my harmonica and played him a little tune. That did the trick; he hung up! A little advice for anyone else dealing with these nuisances: keep a harmonica or a whistle handy. Blast it at full volume and remind them to go look for a proper job!

I received an unsolicited call from a chap representing Accident Compensation UK Ltd. He was keen to confirm (his words) whether someone associated with my number had been involved in an accident over the last three years. However, he had absolutely no details-no names, no dates, not even a location! When I inquired why I was being pestered, especially since I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS), he insisted that TPS didn’t matter in this scenario as it was merely a call for verification and not a sales pitch. Honestly, I might as well have witnessed a whole herd of pigs soaring beyond my window! He remained resolute that he wasn’t trying to sell me anything... and wouldn’t you know it, there's that flock of pigs again! I've lodged a complaint with the TPS and the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), although I don’t hold out much hope that anything will actually change with these persistent calls.

Really annoying calls from this number - kept ringing back because I have an elderly family member who just moved nearby and I was trying to confirm their new phone number. I called back four times in one day but never got through to anyone. It was worrying, especially since they called me four times within five hours and then just stopped responding. Big thanks to everyone who posted here earlier, it helped me figure out what was going on.

The call quality was poor, and the chap on the other end had an Asian accent. I informed him that he’d actually reached a business phone (my direct work line), and he mentioned he would amend his records before promptly hanging up.

Today, our team has been inundated with calls from those pesky 'Accident Helpline' folks. It's been rather tiresome, to say the least!

Got a call from 01614080000. The person spoke really quietly, barely could hear them.

Like a lot of people here, I got no reply for ages, then suddenly they just cut me off. Feels like one of those dodgy scam calls to me.

I had a rather unpleasant experience with someone from this number. They were incredibly pompous and discourteous, insisting on questioning my identity as if I were clueless. Honestly, what a fool!

I've received no fewer than twelve calls from this number today alone! They seem utterly relentless, completely disregarding my wishes. It's clearly a business line. What can I do to put an end to these persistent calls?

I’ve just received a call from the number above, claiming that either I or someone I know has been involved in a car accident. I informed them that I had resolved the issue already. The gentleman on the line had an Asian accent and mentioned he was going to pass me over to his supervisor. At that point, I decided to hang up.

I've had a rather troublesome call from a chap named Ben, who sported a thick accent reminiscent of the Indian subcontinent. It’s clear he's attempting to swindle people out of their details for dodgy accident claims. I’d recommend you either hang up immediately or indulge yourself in your preferred pastime of messing about with these callers’ time. Don’t forget to flag this annoying nuisance to the ICO as well. Interestingly, the number he used, beginning with 0161, is cleverly masked and comes from a pool of local numbers that have been assigned to Vodafone (C&W). The wonders of modern technology certainly make it easy for these pests to misrepresent themselves and masquerade as if they’re from Manchester!

Received a cheeky call today, claimed to be from the so-called Accident Investigation Department. They mentioned having my file about some mishap... Naturally, I thought it was amusing and inquired about what file, its source, and the details of this alleged accident. The chap wouldn’t disclose anything, citing 'security protocols,' and then proceeded to ask if I’d been involved in an accident. Quite ridiculous, really! Just after I put the phone down, I was bombarded with a recorded message about PPI. It’s quite peculiar that despite being on the Telephone Preference Service, this kind of nonsense continues unabated!

I have received two calls from this number, each time claiming that someone in my home had been involved in a car crash within the last three years. When I pressed for more details, the caller, who sounded of a particular ethnicity, rather unhelpfully stated that he was unable to share further information for legal reasons. When I inquired about how he obtained my number, his response was similarly vague. It’s quite baffling how these dreadful people can still track down private numbers, especially since we’re unlisted!

I recently received a phone call from someone purporting to be with Accident Compensation UK Ltd. When I asked if they had an official website, the caller readily provided me with www.accidentcompensation.co.uk. Upon visiting their site, I stumbled upon a rather alarming notice! It reads: "We want to inform you that several individuals have been receiving unsolicited calls from a firm that falsely claims an association with our website. We categorically state that we do not engage in any activities related to claims management, nor have we ever done so, and we certainly do not make cold calls." In the event you've also been subjected to such an unsolicited call, Consumer Direct is there to assist. Be sure to jot down the number from which you received the call, along with any pertinent details like the time, date, and nature of the conversation, and reach out to Consumer Direct at 0845 404 0506 or through their website at http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/.

Ever since I switched my BT landline to a new number to dodge nuisance calls, I've been inundated with calls from this and a plethora of other numbers. It's utterly baffling, especially since I haven't shared my new number with anyone. In a bid to reclaim my peace, I splashed out on a call blocker and promptly added this troublesome number alongside every withheld and international call (you know, the ones that start with 00). It’s not a flawless solution, but it has definitely reduced the incessant ringing. Ultimately, my goal is to set up my phone to only accept calls from numbers I've saved in my contacts. That's the dream, isn't it? -_-

Had a ring from this number around 2 in the afternoon (mind you, I'm ex-directory). There was a bit of a muddled racket on the line, sounding rather like a call centre, and then they just cut me off. - Caller: 0161 448 0000.

Received a call from this number and it was an Asian gentleman on the line. He inquired if I had experienced an accident. I firmly replied no and instructed him not to ring this number again. His response was, "I'll ring you a thousand times!" Let’s just say my reply was quite colourful… It’s baffling to see so many complaints regarding this annoyance, yet it seems like action is lacking. The Telephone Preference Service appears to be quite ineffective when it comes to blocking international calls or those from businesses headquartered overseas. It feels rather pointless, to be honest. Grrr indeed!

I received a rather dodgy phone call today from someone with a foreign accent claiming we’d been involved in an accident three years back. Absolute nonsense! I suspect it’s a scammer trying to pry personal information from vulnerable individuals, particularly the elderly. I attempted to ring them back, but of course, no one picked up. Stay vigilant, everyone!

This number appears to belong to Road Traffic Management, likely reaching out regarding claim processing. It’s the 01614080000 line. Interestingly, I was informed that no one here has experienced an accident over the past three years. They mentioned they’d get around to updating the records, though.

I had a rather alarming phone call from this number earlier this evening. A chap with a thick accent was insisting that I’d been in an accident, which I can assure you is absolute nonsense. When I asserted that this was untrue, he began to raise his voice, accusing me of being dishonest and threatening me with a £500 charge! He claimed to have my name, address, and phone number, which felt a bit too invasive for my liking. I decided it was best to hang up. Clearly, some people have too much time on their hands!

I've been receiving calls from this number, but there's never anyone on the other end. It seems like one of those automated calling systems that can't quite keep up with the volume. Given that I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, they really shouldn't be getting through to me at all. It's usually a nuisance, ringing my phone about five or six times in one night. Quite bothersome and definitely unwelcome! Cheers, Zoe

As a waste management company, we've been inundated with a staggering 18 calls from this number over a fortnight! It became rather ridiculous, so I decided to play along with the caller. When he asked about my wellbeing, I concocted a tale about injuring my finger. I mentioned I’d put a plaster on it and it healed quite well, to which he expressed his concern. He took it seriously and suggested I could put in a claim! Curiosity got the better of me, so I inquired about the payout. Imagine my surprise when he said it could be as much as £4000! I cheekily responded, "Splendid! That would cover my Christmas shopping nicely." Eventually, my interest waned and I terminated the call. What a right carry on!

I've been receiving calls from this number incessantly. They always disconnect as soon as my voicemail kicks in. This number keeps ringing me around five times a day that I’ve noticed while I’m at home. Each time, there’s nothing but silence for about twenty seconds before they cut off the call. It feels rather unsettling, as if they’re trying to see whether I’m in or not. Quite unnerving, if you ask me!

I just received a rather dubious phone call from this number, claiming that someone in my home had been involved in a minor car accident within the last three years. The caller's whole vibe seemed a bit off, making me feel quite uneasy. When I probed for more information and asked for their identity, they insisted they were legal advisors. However, communication was a challenge, as the gentleman was rather difficult to understand and seemed to have an Asian accent. It got to a point where I requested a written confirmation to clarify things. After a bit of back-and-forth about who he was attempting to reach, he kept reverting to the vague claim about someone in my household. I firmly stated that nobody here had had any accident. To my astonishment, he then threatened me, saying if it turned out I was being dishonest, I would be liable to pay a hefty £5000. At that, I promptly hung up the phone.

Received a call from a number in Manchester, yet it displayed as "International" on my phone. An Asian gentleman inquired whether I was using a business line. I informed him it was merely a private residential line. He apologised and mentioned that he must have gotten it wrong. Quite courteous of him, which is a tad different from the other feedback I've seen. It just doesn’t quite align with some of the other experiences reported.

On the 19th of November at precisely 11:34, I received a call from someone purporting to be representing a compensation firm for accidents. To my surprise, they simply ended the call without another word.

I received a call from this number yesterday morning, but the caller ended the call as soon as my voicemail asked for their identity. Later in the evening, during my free minutes, I decided to ring them repeatedly and left several messages on their voicemail. In a few of those messages, I intentionally paused for a moment before speaking to hopefully irritate them when they play it back. Upon reflection, I’m quite surprised by some of the rather colourful language I used to express my opinions about them, considering I don’t typically resort to such words. However, it'll definitely be worth it if their reaction upon hearing those messages matches the outrage we feel when receiving such bothersome calls. If plenty of others follow suit, perhaps they'll finally comprehend the consequences of their actions. Just remember to withhold your number before you give them a ring!

Over the past few weeks, I've been inundated with calls from this number, all inquiring about an accident involving someone from my residence that allegedly took place a few years back. Today, on the 18th of November 2014, I received a rather dubious call from this number. An individual with a thick accent attempted to pull the old trick of claiming that “someone in your dwelling had an accident recently.” I was well aware this was all a fabrication. When I confronted him and called him out on his nonsense, he vehemently denied it. At that point, I decided enough was enough and ended the conversation abruptly.

I recently received a rather unexpected call from that number. When I mentioned that I hadn't solicited their contact, the chap on the other end insisted I disclose who else resides in my household. I calmly told him to jog on, at which point he launched into a tirade, threatening to call again and warned me to brace myself for the consequences. To be honest, my frustration stemmed from how frequently they’ve been ringing me-it's relentless! Feeling a bit unsettled now, to say the least.

I've received several unexpected calls from this number and initially chose to ignore them. Eventually, my patience wore thin, and I decided to pick up. The man on the other end introduced himself as Jordon and launched into his usual sales pitch. After informing him that I was registered with the Telephone Preference Service and that I intended to report him, I hung up. To my surprise, he called back, hurling threats and boasting about his superior intelligence. I ended the conversation once more, and he proceeded to ring me a few additional times, which I opted to ignore. It's high time someone took action against these individuals!

A few days back, I received a call from this individual, and it was quite similar to the last one - but it really rattled my elderly mate (she's 92, bless her heart). She genuinely believed that her son, who had just left for work that very morning, had been involved in some unfortunate mishap, and it left her absolutely terrified. It’s utterly appalling behaviour, and I’m at my wit’s end trying to figure out how to lodge a complaint about this sort of nonsense.

I received a rather dubious call from this number, and the chap on the other end was inquiring about some alleged accident. When I questioned what accident he was referring to, he tried to insist that I was obligated to divulge my information. Quite taken aback, I told him that my time was worth £150 an hour. I suggested if he could provide me with the name and address of his company, I'd be more than happy to send him an invoice by this evening. That seemed to put an end to our little conversation.
