Got a missed call, so I looked it up here. From what others are saying, it looks like this number is linked to some kind of data collection scheme.

Another call came through but this time from a different number, asking for someone named Barry. We had a bit of fun by pretending to be Mary at first, then swapping back to Barry, which really seemed to throw them off. They ended the call pretty sharpish after that. Bit of a shame really, would have been good to mess about and waste their time with some fake info!

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, said she was ringing from some UK financial survey. When I asked where she got my details from, she said another company sold it to them. I told her to take my number off their list, mentioned it’s unlisted and really shouldn’t be on there. Told her I’d take legal action if they rang me again. She hung up not long after that. Bit of a nuisance, felt like a dodgy call.

It was kinda irritating at first, but they rang up just checking in about ISA's, and honestly, I don't mind that at all. I find it a bit much when folks claim it's some big scam without even speaking to them. Honestly, people need to chill a bit, stop being so suspicious and maybe enjoy life a bit more.

Got a call from someone called (ay) who asked for me by my first name and said it was a quick survey. I didn’t catch what his name was. I just cut him off and said I don’t do surveys. There was a weird pause at the beginning, so I’m guessing it wasn’t actually from the UK even though the number looked like it was.

It showed up as a UK number, but there was a noticeable delay, which made it clear the call was actually being redirected from abroad. The bloke claimed his name was Jay and said he was with a UK financial survey. When I began to ask why he was ringing and why he wanted my wife's maiden name, he just ended the call.
