I got charged £49.99 on my credit card by 0 3990134 for a blood pressure monitor I ordered online, but I never received anything at all. Quite annoyed about it!

They first tried to sell me these so-called education booklets for charity, but then went on with other things. Totally a con, watch out!

Got a call from someone claiming I had committed to sponsoring an anti bullying campaign for £189. She said there were recordings of our chat and then just ended the call abruptly. Total scam!

I felt really cornered when they kept badgering me for funds to support their antibullying literature. The requests were incessant and the amounts they were asking for kept fluctuating, which added to my anxiety. It was genuinely quite distressing and frankly, rather unpleasant.

scam alert: some woman called saying I’d agreed to put an advert in a school brochure last year. I had no clue what she was on about. At first, she told me the brochures were already printed and due to be sent out this week. When I told her they’d got the wrong company name and there’s no way I’d approved anything, she said they’d reprint them. I pressed her for evidence, like a recording of the call or the contract I supposedly signed. Then she said she needed to pass me onto someone else and just hung up on me. Suspicious as hell.

i ended up telling a few anti-bullying groups about these scammers, cause their constant lies make the whole cause look bad. if you have a moment, i reckon you should report them too. they’re just embarrassing not only anti-bullying charities but all the good causes out there that depend on donations.

Just like others here, I got a call from a woman asking which schools I wanted brochures sent to, supposedly ones they printed. Funny enough, about a year ago, I had the exact same call. Back then, I told her we run a design and print business, so we wouldn’t be paying for their printing services. This time when she rang, I mentioned the same thing about last year’s call, and she responded by saying it was a free service and didn’t see how it could be a scam. She then said she'd remove me from their database and promptly ended the call. Honestly, it felt like a total con to me!

It’s pretty rich how they called claiming to support a local anti-bullying effort but then just ended the call as soon as I questioned what they said. Bit of a cheek, really.

They just tried to trick me so they'd get talking to someone, lied right to my face. When I called them out on it, they hung up straight away. Proper rude and shady.

Got a call from 0161 399 0134 saying it was some anti-bullying group, but yesterday I had another call from 07979 270440 claiming I owed more than £2000 and a bailiff would be sent. Of course, no one showed up. Today, when I told the caller the person they wanted wasn’t around, they just hung up on me! Makes me wary of all these calls now, and I’ll only be donating to charities I trust from now on. Honestly, it’s hard to trust anyone these days!

total scam! she kept insisting we promised to back some anti-bullying thing. my husband wasn’t having it and told her she should find a proper job instead of trying to cheat people over the phone like that!

Yep, just got a call like everyone else described. Definitely a scam, watch out.

Just got a call about 10 minutes back from someone claiming a company had agreed to support an anti-bullying initiative. They tried to push an invoice for around £180, which sounded off. I asked her to send proper proof in writing to back up their claim. She ended up hanging up but said she'd send over everything, including recordings from our chat. I immediately searched the number online and stumbled upon this discussion, which totally confirmed my doubts!

I received a rather peculiar phone call earlier today from someone claiming to represent an organisation that my business was supposedly supporting with a safety booklet for local schools. They inquired about the specific school to which my "sponsorship" of these "booklets" should be directed. When I began to mention the name of a nearby school-it's a bit of a mouthful-they seemed to note it down without so much as asking for the full address. Then, out of the blue, they demanded the £169 that I supposedly pledged to contribute. I was a bit taken aback, as I couldn't recall making such a promise. I requested any recorded communication they might have sent my way, and they assured me they would resend it along with a recording of our earlier conversation. I thought, fair enough, I could be mistaken, so I went along with it. But alas, I've yet to hear back from them-still waiting!

Got a call from someone claiming I’d registered for wristbands or something, said they’d be glad to assist me?? Never got any call from them before so I flagged it as an unsolicited call.

Got a call from a lady who kept saying I had agreed to support some anti-bullying campaign, and also help pay for books meant for local schools. I told her I didn’t remember signing up for anything like that and asked her to stop calling me. This is actually the second time these people have rung me up.

Got a call from someone claiming to be collecting £189 for an anti bullying campaign, said I’d agreed back in September or something. I told them the company has been shut down for ages and then just ended the call straight away. Total scam if you ask me!

I got a call from a woman claiming I'd reported an anti-bullying issue to the police last year. I asked her which company she was referring to, and she said it was one I used to own but haven't had anything to do with for ages. Then, she just disconnected on me.
