This is the third time some foreign woman has rang me, calling me by my full name and asking about my pension. I told her straight up my pension is private and none of her business. She just kept going on, so I said I couldn’t understand a single thing she was saying. Still, she wouldn’t give up, so eventually I told her again my pension’s private and ended the call.

This number is faked (voip) and not actually from Manchester. It’s a scam trying to steal your pension from overseas. In the UK, pension enquiries come through the Pension Advisory Service, which you have to get in touch with yourself - they never ring you first. Best to stay well clear or you’ll get ripped off, and if you do have any pension savings left, they’ll be outside of FCA regulation. Avoid at all costs!

Got a call on my phone yesterday. The number appeared to be from Manchester initially but there weren’t enough digits, so I let it ring off. Then it called straight back, so I thought maybe it was serious and picked up. It was a woman with an Indian accent asking for me, claiming she could help with unsecured loans and credit card debts, saying she could wipe off up to 75% of it. Obviously a scam because I don’t owe anything and always clear my credit card every month. I politely told her not to call me ever again.
