Terrible connection, but after a bit I caught them saying something about investments[###] (?). I told them I wasn’t interested and was busy, but they didn’t take the hint and kept pushing. Strange thing is, they knew my first name, not sure how they got my info. Just ended the call and blocked the number.

Over the past three weeks i've had around 5 calls from them. If this kind of thing is against the law and lots of folks are hit by it, then why dont the phone companies disconnect these calls? It really could lead to some risky situations.

picked up the phone and the bloke asked if he was talking to a different name, he said my old surname by mistake. as soon as i told him he got the info wrong he just dropped the call. wasn’t even 3 seconds long.
