Got a call from some guy with a strong Indian accent who claimed he was from “TeamSearch”. He rattled off my name straight away, which unnerved me a bit, so I asked how they managed to get my info. Instead of answering, he kept going, “Do you have like 5 to 10 minutes for a quick survey?” I decided to drag it out, asking daft questions and keeping him chatting just for a laugh and to annoy him a bit.

I told her straight away no and asked her not to ring again. I know Teamsearch is a legit firm, based in Halifax with a 01422 number, so I doubt this call actually came from their office.

Around 7.20 this evening, I got a call from a woman claiming to be offering some kind of housing improvement scheme for the local area. Something about it felt off, especially since it was quite late to be making calls like this. She asked if now was a convenient time for a chat, and I told her it wasn’t. Then she wanted to know if she could call me back later - which I also declined. After that, she asked if there was anyone else over 18 at my place she could speak to. She kept pushing, so I just ended the call.
