I got a call from someone saying they were from British Gas and asking for loads of personal stuff to renew my utilities contract. I didn’t share anything and told them to ring me later. Then I called British Gas myself and found out it wasn’t them at all. They said they’re fed up with people pretending to be them. Seems like this kind of scam happens quite a bit nowadays.
