She claimed it was to do with loft insulation. Kept going on like "you probably don't remember my mate calling you before, you reckon you forget things when you get on a bit." I told her I'm not that old, and she said "Well, sounds like you are." Her voice was really annoying, sort of northern and really whiny. Honestly, she was quite rude.

Loads of people have mentioned this before, but it’s definitely one of those dodgy insurance scams trying to blag your personal info. I get calls nearly every afternoon around 1pm. I keep blocking the numbers but they just tweak one or two digits, so they always manage to get through somehow. Honestly, don’t pick up. They don’t seem bothered about actually knowing anything. When I told them I was happy with my existing provider and gave no other details, they still kept pestering me. Asked them to stop but they just keep ringing every single day. Proper annoying!

They've been ringing me nearly daily from different numbers, all beginning with 0161. Always say they're there to update my life insurance. Definitely looks like a scam to me!
