It's obvious that these are nothing but con artists. I really can't fathom why the police haven't swooped in on them yet. It's utterly outrageous! Honestly, it would serve them right if they tangled with a tough bloke from the underworld who'd put them in their place-now that would be a sight to see!

I pick up the phone, say hello, and then they just cut me off - how incredibly rude, hmm.

They claimed to be calling from the financial conduct authority about some sort of issue. I told them I never pick up unexpected calls and asked them to send me a letter with the info instead. Before they finally spoke, there was that long pause like those boiler room scams, and the caller had a strong foreign accent. Honestly, it felt quite unsettling.

No response at all. I ended the call after a short while. Felt pretty dodgy to me.

Got a call saying I had some money stuck in a chain or sumthin but they never explained how to get it back. They did know my first name but no clue where I live. They started swearing at me and I just kept asking them to say it again cause their accent was impossible to get. 100% another scam, I reckon.

Received a call that was rather noisy in the background. A woman was on the line and surprisingly knew my name. Just as quickly as it started, the call cut off. I’ve since blocked the number.

Phone rang at 8.22am, which is outside work hours. As soon as I picked up, they just ended the call.

I told them to send me a letter instead, and that’s when the guy just said bye and ended the call.
