Earlier today, we received calls from 01613800267 and 01613800134. It seems like these folks might have a whole bunch of numbers beginning with 01613800!

So, I had a rather curious phone call from some chaps claiming to be from O2, asking me a bit about our landline and broadband situation. Apparently, they were keen to entice us into switching to BT, offering line rental at a rather steep £13 a week. Once I mentioned that we currently only fork out £11 for the same service, you could practically hear a pin drop. Honestly, do they think I'm completely clueless?

Received a missed call earlier today from a number linked to O2, but they claimed to be a third-party caller. I’m quite puzzled as I’ve never shared my number with any businesses. It’s a bit concerning how they managed to get hold of it.

We received a call from these individuals who claimed to represent O2, so we decided to end the conversation!

These individuals claimed to be associated with O2, but when they started asking a multitude of personal questions, we decided to hang up.

My partner and I, being with O2, received a couple of calls - one came in on Saturday and another on Tuesday. The numbers were 01613800267 and 0161380273. We chose not to answer either of them. However, when we mistakenly pressed 'engaged' on the second call, we ended up getting charged for it! Quite baffling, to say the least.

When I attempted to return the call from that number, I was met with a recorded message from O2. They provided a different number to help opt out of marketing calls. The irony is, we’re already with O2, yet they still keep trying to persuade us to join them again! It’s a bit daft, really.

We received two calls, one from this number and another from 01613800424. We decided not to answer either of them, but based on what I've read here, it seems likely that both times it was someone posing as O2.

If you ring up 0800 013 6671, you'll be able to opt out. That was the number provided as soon as I dialled the 0161 one. Hopefully, this will be the end of it and we won't hear from them again.
