I got a call from some "bank security" people, they weren’t sure which bank I was with but reckoned there were weird transactions from my account. You gotta be careful, if you end up trusting those dodgy scammers, you’ll lose far more than just some money.

Got a robocall saying it was from "the bank" - but kept it vague, like they didn’t want to pin down a specific one, probably trying to catch everyone out. They said there was money taken from my account and told me to ring back. Obviously a total scam. Reported the number to BT and the national Fraud Alert line. Going to block it straight away. Just another nasty phishing attempt.

Got a call from a robotic voice saying it was Visa Security, asking me to press 1 to report. When I did, it suddenly switched to welcoming me to Amazon. I questioned the guy on the other end about the mix-up, and he just got confused and hung up on me!
