I received a rather perplexing call from what appears to be an insurance firm, specifically RA Insurance or something of the sort, stating that I’m entitled to around £1100.00 as compensation for an incident that took place back in November 2016. They promised to furnish me with all the required documentation, assuring me that there would be no financial charges and no need for my bank details. Initially, all their information seemed spot on. However, during a follow-up chat with a so-called 'supervisor', the conversation veered towards me experiencing any injuries or lingering pain, neither of which I have ever encountered. Despite my repeated clarifications on this matter, he persistently pushed the narrative of me having endured some suffering. I decided sufficient was enough and hung up the phone.
