I got a call like the ones others have mentioned, it was a woman’s voice being really threatening, saying I had big trouble with HM Revenue & Customs and I had to call a certain number back (not sure if it’s the same one I got from 1471 after the call ended). She said if I just ignored the call, it would be at my own risk and that there’d be serious consequences. I’ve never got a call like that before and it was pretty alarming, but it’s a bit comforting to know I’m not the only one. Was quite shocked the number actually showed up when I checked with 1471. Does anyone know who we can actually report this kind of dodgy behaviour to?

Twice last week I got a call from a posh sounding older English woman, sounded all proper like she was legit or something.
