Got a call about some PPI thing, apparently they’re sending me a cheque worth more than £4k. But first, they want me to buy a £100 paysafe card to “release” the cheque. Sounds dodgy so I’ve just blocked the number straight away.

I've been absolutely plagued by this number and a slew of others starting with 0161. It's like a game of whack-a-mole; every time I manage to block one, another pops up. When I do pick up, it's just silence on the other end. I'm starting to suspect it might be a PPI firm trying their luck. They never bother leaving a message, so I've finally had enough and put a block on them.
