Totally sketchy, they claimed I was eligible for a bill discount but couldn’t get my info right or even spell my name properly. Ended the call halfway and blocked the number straight away. I don’t have any bills in my name anyway, everything’s under my partner’s account lol 🤣🤣🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I hung up as soon as someone picked up, sounded like a call centre. Pretty sure they assumed I didn’t answer coz I heard someone say "Alright, let’s ring that one again in an hour." Sounds like they’re teaching someone new to keep bugging people. Too bad for them, I’ve already blocked the number.

Didnt pick up but after reading the comments its clearly a scam, they called me 3 times before noon.

They rang me up saying I could get a discount on my energy bills because of the pandemic. When I asked for proof of who they were and why I was eligible for the discount (I was checking online at the same time), they just ended the call. Definitely a scam.

Just got a call from this number, played along for a bit and then he started going on about setting up a direct debit for my gas and electric. 01613549894 rang me a few times and eventually I answered, they wanted me to confirm my info. When I asked why, the guy said it was to make sure I’m the correct person. I told him how am I meant to know you’re legit, you could be anyone really. Then he started raising his voice, asking again for my name and details. I just said with the lockdown lifted all these annoying calls are back, it was so peaceful with no nuisance calls before. Then he just hung up.

They claimed to be from Quoteline Direct and already knew my name and an old address. They were trying to sell life insurance. I told them I wasn’t interested and mentioned I’m on the TPS, so they should take me off their calling list. They’ve been ringing me every day for nearly a week now, fingers crossed they finally give it a rest!
