This number has called me 16 times today alone. I got 13 calls yesterday and 14 the day before that. I don’t pick up anymore since I’m certain it’s one of those PPI calls. Received a staggering four missed calls in a single day! I simply allowed the phone to ring away, as I've got it on silent mode. My voicemail greets with a message about having undergone a PPI check! Honestly, I reckon I’d remember any mishap I’d endured! I tend to ignore calls from unfamiliar numbers - if you’ve something to say, drop me a message, and I might contemplate ringing you back. But no one ever bothers to leave a voicemail! What a waste of their time, really! Haha!

I've had a few calls from this number lately. Once I discovered it was linked to PPI, I decided to stop picking up. However, I accidentally answered one this evening and was taken aback when they addressed me by my full name and appeared to know my address. Initially, the conversation was rather cordial, full of pleasantries. However, things swiftly took a turn when I declined to share my date of birth. Their tone shifted, becoming noticeably jittery, insisting that they couldn't proceed without that piece of information, which they deemed essential. They suggested dispatching some details to the address they had on record, but again, they insisted on the necessity of my birth date before any action could be taken. I firmly declined and informed them that I would be terminating the call to seek additional counsel. At that point, they abruptly ended the call.

Total scam! They’ve been ringing me repeatedly every couple of days for more than a week, and it always seems to happen while I'm busy at work. The moment I picked up, they asked me to verify my address, claiming I'd soon receive a letter regarding some funds from a payment protection scheme linked to previous loans. I told them that I’ve never taken out a loan and that I've only been residing in the UK for three years. They hung up immediately after that.
