They never gave their name but claimed they could assist with a recent car crash. I told them I hadn’t had any accidents recently. They kept asking if I'd been in one over the past few years. Since I kept saying no, they wouldn’t drop it, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from a lady with a South Asian accent, sounded like she might’ve been from Beneficial or something, asking for my wife by name to do some sort of shopping survey. Told her she wasn’t in and that we weren’t interested. Didn’t bother with it and blocked the number straight away. Feels like it was a scam, spam or some kinda fraud because the number looked like it had been spoofed. Funny thing is, I checked and saw that same number was used for dodgy calls over three years ago too.

Someone rang me saying they were a motor engineer checking out the cause of a recent accident. I asked them how they were linked to my insurer since I’d already chosen my own garage. They insisted they weren’t a garage but just figuring out who’s at fault. Then they got all defensive, calling me aggressive for just asking questions. They even threatened to tell my insurance I was committing fraud because of how I spoke to them! Definitely wouldn’t trust these lot.
