These lot called me saying there was an issue with my internet. It’s nowhere near BT’s fault though, so I just told the bloke named Dave, who sounded Asian, to get lost. Don’t hand over your info to them!

This number has called me three times today, but every time I answered, the call just went silent and then ended.

I got a dodgy ring from some scammer claiming to be from TalkTalk. They wanted me to give them remote control of my computer through things like teamviewer or logmein. Honestly, don’t give them any chance with your device. I ended up messing with them a bit just to waste their time, which is probably the nicest thing they get from me. What they actually deserve is best left unsaid here.

Got three calls today from this number claiming to be from TalkTalk about my Internet being down. They never asked for any DPA and even asked if I was actually sitting at my computer! I calmly told them they needed to follow proper procedure and then reported it straight to TalkTalk.

SCAM alert. Got a call from some bloke named Jason claiming to be from BT! Had this thick Asian accent that was hard to get. He went on about my internet having issues and some hackers trying to steal my info. Asked if my router was far from me, and I just snapped, asking what business it was of his. He said he must be wasting his time and hung up on me. Most calls on my landline these days are scams like this. I’m not even a BT customer but I’ve gotten pretty good at playing along just to waste their time. Shame there’s always gonna be someone who falls for these dodgy tricks.
