One time this bloke with a Pakistani accent rang me from 0161 354 667 saying my PPI claim went through and asking how I preferred to get the £3360 cash. I cut him off quick, told him I never done any PPI claim and to stop wasting my time. He muttered something, got a bit annoyed, said thanks then just hung up. Total scam, best to steer clear!

Got a call from some lot claiming a manager would ring me up in the morning about a 3300 PPI refund. Sounded like typical dodgy Pakistani scammers to me. Honestly, it’s hard to not get a bit racist with these kinds of calls. Number was 01613546671.

Yesterday, I got a call saying I was owed about £3,640 for PPI compensation. Today, the guy called again, said he was the manager, and asked me to pay £100 via Paysafe voucher. Then he told me some solicitor would come right to my house with the money. Who even carries cash like that and drops it off at your door? Sounds fishy to me.

Got a call from someone saying i had a PPI refund of more than £2000 coming. They asked me to pay a £75 deposit first as fees, then said i'd need to pay another £275 after. They promised to send a cheque the next day. After digging around online, it became clear this was a complete con. The money they promised would never show up. Thankfully, i only ended up losing the £75 deposit and not a bigger amount.

A mate of mine got a call claiming he was due around £2300 compensation for PPI, and they promised to drop off a cheque the same day. They then asked him to send £100 via Paysafe before they’d hand over the cheque at five. The “manager” guy going by Richard Johnson and the “solicitor” delivering the cheque called Jennifer Brown (seriously, what a joke) struggled with English, being obviously foreign. Pure scam from the start. Wish they could be stopped or just sent straight back to wherever they came from.

Earlier today, a woman named Jennifer Brown rang me up saying I was due £2,400 for PPI. She said she’d be coming round before six o’clock and wanted me to show proof like an electricity bill and a photo ID, maybe a passport. She also asked me to get a PaySafe card voucher worth £100 from a PayPoint. Sounds like a total scam to me.
